"அவராலேயன்றி வேறொருவராலும் இரட்சிப்பு இல்லை; நாம் இரட்சிக்கப்படும்படிக்கு வானத்தின் கீழெங்கும், மனுஷர்களுக்குள்ளே அவருடைய நாமமேயல்லாமல் வேறொரு நாமம் கட்டளையிடப்படவும் இல்லை"

ஆதியிலே வார்த்தை இருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனிடத்திலிருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனாயிருந்தது. அவர் ஆதியிலே தேவனோடிருந்தார். சகலமும் அவர் மூலமாய் உண்டாயிற்று; உண்டானதொன்றும் அவராலேயல்லாமல் உண்டாகவில்லை. அவருக்குள் ஜீவன் இருந்தது, அந்த ஜீவன் மனுஷருக்கு ஒளியாயிருந்தது. அந்த ஒளி இருளிலே பிரகாசிக்கிறது; இருளானது அதைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளவில்லை

உலகத்திலே வந்து எந்த மனுஷனையும் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கிற ஒளியே அந்த மெய்யான ஒளி. அவர் உலகத்தில் இருந்தார், உலகம் அவர் மூலமாய் உண்டாயிற்று. உலகமோ அவரை அறியவில்லை. அவர் தமக்குச் சொந்தமானதிலே வந்தார், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்களோ அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

ஆதலால் தேவனுடைய இரட்சிப்பு புறஜாதியாருக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறதென்றும், அவர்கள் அதற்குச் செவிகொடுப்பார்களென்றும் உங்களுக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கக்கடவது என்றான்.

Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

அவர் உங்களெல்லாரையும் உங்கள் பொல்லாங்குகளிலிருந்து விலக்கி, உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படி தேவன் தம்முடைய பிள்ளையாகிய இயேசுவை எழுப்பி, முதலாவது உங்களிடத்திற்கே அவரை அனுப்பினார் என்றான்.
Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

             உன்னதமானவரின் மறைவிலிருக்கிறவன் சர்வவல்லவருடைய நிழலில் தங்குவான்.
    2 நான் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: நீர் என் அடைக்கலம், என் கோட்டை, என் தேவன், நான் நம்பியிருக்கிறவர் என்று சொல்லுவேன்.
    3 அவர் உன்னை வேடனுடைய கண்ணிக்கும் பாழாக்கும் கொள்ளைநோய்க்கும் தப்புவிப்பார். 
    4 அவர் தமது சிறகுகளாலே உன்னை மூடுவார்; அவர் செட்டைகளின் கீழே அடைக்கலம் புகுவாய்; அவருடைய சத்தியம் உனக்குப் பரிசையும் கேடகமுமாகும்.
     5 இரவில் உண்டாகும் பயங்கரத்துக்கும், பகலில் பறக்கும் அம்புக்கும்,

    6 இருளில் நடமாடும் கொள்ளைநோய்க்கும், மத்தியானத்தில் பாழாக்கும் சங்காரத்துக்கும் பயப்படாதிருப்பாய்.

     7 உன் பக்கத்தில் ஆயிரம்பேரும், உன் வலதுபுறத்தில் பதினாயிரம்பேரும் விழுந்தாலும், அது உன்னை அணுகாது.
     8 உன் கண்களால் மாத்திரம் நீ அதைப் பார்த்து, துன்மார்க்கருக்கு வரும் பலனைக் காண்பாய்.
     9 எனக்கு அடைக்கலமாயிருக்கிற உன்னதமான கர்த்தரை உனக்குத் தாபரமாகக்கொண்டாய்.
     10 ஆகையால் பொல்லாப்பு உனக்கு நேரிடாது, வாதை உன் கூடாரத்தை அணுகாது.
     11 உன் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் உன்னைக்காக்கும்படி, உனக்காகத் தம்முடைய தூதர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவார்.
     12 உன் பாதம் கல்லில் இடறாதபடிக்கு அவர்கள் உன்னைத் தங்கள் கைகளில் ஏந்திக்கொண்டுபோவார்கள்.
     13 சிங்கத்தின்மேலும் விரியன்பாம்பின்மேலும் நீ நடந்து, பாலசிங்கத்தையும் வலுசர்ப்பத்தையும் மிதித்துப்போடுவாய்.

     14 அவன் என்னிடத்தில் வாஞ்சையாயிருக்கிறபடியால் அவனை விடுவிப்பேன்; என் நாமத்தை அவன் அறிந்திருக்கிறபடியால் அவனை உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைப்பேன்.

     15 அவன் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவான், நான் அவனுக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு அருளிச்செய்வேன்; ஆபத்திலே நானே அவனோடிருந்து, அவனைத் தப்புவித்து அவனைக் கனப்படுத்துவேன்.
     16 நீடித்த நாட்களால் அவனைத் திருப்தியாக்கி, என் இரட்சிப்பை அவனுக்குக் காண்பிப்பேன்.

HE who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
     2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust."

     3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

     4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.   

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by knight, nor of the arrow that flies by day.

     6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

    7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

     8 Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.

     9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place.

     10 No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

     11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

     12 In their hands, they shall bear you up least you dash your foot against a stone.

     13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

     14"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore  I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
     15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
     16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation."

     நாம் அவருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி நடப்பதே அன்பு; நீங்கள் ஆதிமுதல் கேட்டிருக்கிறபடி நடந்துகொள்ளவேண்டிய கற்பனை இதுவே.
      மாம்சத்தில் வந்த இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை அறிக்கைபண்ணாத அநேக வஞ்சகர் உலகத்திலே தோன்றியிருக்கிறார்கள்; இப்படிப்பட்டவனே வஞ்சகனும் அந்திக்கிறிஸ்துவுமாயிருக்கிறான்.

     உங்கள் செய்கைகளின் பலனை இழந்துபோகாமல், பூரண பலனைப் பெறும்படிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்.
      கிறிஸ்துவின் உபதேசத்திலே நிலைத்திராமல் மீறி நடக்கிற எவனும் தேவனை உடையவனல்ல; கிறிஸ்துவின் உபதேசத்தில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறவனோ பிதாவையும் குமாரனையும் உடையவன்.
     ஒருவன் உங்களிடத்தில் வந்து இந்த உபதேசத்தைக்கொண்டுவராமலிருந்தால், அவனை உங்கள் வீட்டிலே ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமலும், அவனுக்கு வாழ்த்துதல் சொல்லாமலும் இருங்கள்.

II யோவான் 1:6-10

    
And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
     For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
     Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
     Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
     If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

II John 1:6-10

     "உங்கள் தலையிலுள்ள மயிரெல்லாம் எண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. ஆதலால் பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; அநேகம் அடைக்கலான் குருவிகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீங்கள் விசேஷித்தவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்."
     "மனுஷர் முன்பாக என்னை அறிக்கைபண்ணுகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனை நானும் பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவின் முன்பாக அறிக்கைபண்ணுவேன். மனுஷர் முன்பாக என்னை மறுதலிக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவனை நானும் பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவின் முன்பாக மறுதலிப்பேன்."

     "But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."

     "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

 அப்படிப்போல இக்காலத்திலேயும் கிருபையினாலே உண்டாகும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுதலின்படி ஒரு பங்கு மீதியாயிருக்கிறது.

அது கிருபையினாலே உண்டாயிருந்தால் கிரியைகளினாலே உண்டாயிராது; அப்படியல்லவென்றால், கிருபையானது கிருபையல்லவே. அன்றியும் அது கிரியைகளினாலே உண்டாயிருந்தால் அது கிருபையாயிராது; அப்படியல்லவென்றால், கிரியையானது கிரியையல்லவே.

அப்படியானால் என்ன? இஸ்ரவேலர் தேடுகிறதை அடையாமலிருக்கிறார்கள், தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களோ அதை அடைந்திருக்கிறார்கள்; மற்றவர்கள் இன்றையத்தினம்வரைக்கும் கடினப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

கனநித்திரையின் ஆவியையும், காணாதிருக்கிற கண்களையும், கேளாதிருக்கிற காதுகளையும், தேவன் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியாயிற்று.

அன்றியும், அவர்களுடைய பந்தி அவர்களுக்குச் சுருக்கும் கண்ணியும் இடறுதற்கான கல்லும் பதிலுக்குப் பதிலளித்தலுமாகக்கடவது;

காணாதபடிக்கு அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் அந்தகாரப்படக்கடவது; அவர்களுடைய முதுகை எப்போதும் குனியப்பண்ணும் என்று தாவீதும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறான்.

இப்படியிருக்க, விழுந்துபோகும்படிக்கா இடறினார்கள் என்று கேட்கிறேன், அப்படியல்லவே; அவர்களுக்குள்ளே வைராக்கியத்தை எழுப்பத்தக்கதாக அவர்களுடைய தவறுதலினாலே புறஜாதிகளுக்கு இரட்சிப்பு கிடைத்தது.

அவர்களுடைய தவறு உலகத்திற்கு ஐசுவரியமும், அவர்களுடைய குறைவு புறஜாதிகளுக்கு ஐசுவரியமுமாயிருக்க, அவர்களுடைய நிறைவு எவ்வளவு அதிகமாய் அப்படியிருக்கும்.

புறஜாதியாராகிய உங்களுடனே பேசுகிறேன்; புறஜாதிகளுக்கு நான் அப்போஸ்தலனாயிருக்கிறதினாலே என் இனத்தாருக்குள்ளே நான் வைராக்கியத்தை எழுப்பி, அவர்களில் சிலரை இரட்சிக்கவேண்டுமென்று,

என் ஊழியத்தை மேன்மைப்படுத்துகிறேன்.

அவர்களைத் தள்ளிவிடுதல் உலகத்தை ஒப்புரவாக்குதலாயிருக்க, அவர்களை அங்கிகரித்துக்கொள்ளுதல் என்னமாயிராது; மரித்தோரிலிருந்து ஜீவன் உண்டானதுபோலிருக்குமல்லவோ?

மேலும் முதற்பலனாகிய மாவானது பரிசுத்தமாயிருந்தால், பிசைந்தமா முழுவதும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்; வேரானது பரிசுத்தமாயிருந்தால், கிளைகளும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்

சில கிளைகள் முறித்துப்போடப்பட்டிருக்க, காட்டொலிவமரமாகிய நீ அவைகள் இருந்த இடத்தில் ஒட்டவைக்கப்பட்டு, ஒலிவமரத்தின் வேருக்கும் சாரத்துக்கும் உடன்பங்காளியாயிருந்தாயானால்,

நீ அந்தக் கிளைகளுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பெருமைபாராட்டாதே; பெருமை பாராட்டுவாயானால், நீ வேரைச் சுமக்காமல், வேர் உன்னைச் சுமக்கிறதென்று நினைத்துக்கொள்.

நான் ஒட்டவைக்கப்படுவதற்கு அந்தக் கிளைகள் முறித்துப்போடப்பட்டதென்று சொல்லுகிறாயே.

நல்லது, அவிசுவாசத்தினாலே அவைகள் முறித்துப்போடப்பட்டன, நீ விசுவாசத்தினாலே நிற்கிறாய்; மேட்டிமைச் சிந்தையாயிராமல் பயந்திரு.

சுபாவக்கிளைகளை தேவன் தப்பவிடாதிருக்க, உன்னையும் தப்பவிடமாட்டார் என்று எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு.

ஆகையால், தேவனுடைய தயவையும் கண்டிப்பையும் பார்; விழுந்தவர்களிடத்திலே கண்டிப்பையும், உன்னிடத்திலே தயவையும் காண்பித்தார்; அந்தத் தயவிலே நிலைத்திருப்பாயானால் உனக்குத் தயவுகிடைக்கும்; நிலைத்திராவிட்டால் நீயும் வெட்டுண்டுபோவாய்.

அன்றியும், அவர்கள் அவிசுவாசத்திலே நிலைத்திராதிருந்தால் அவர்களும் ஒட்டவைக்கப்படுவார்கள், அவர்களை மறுபடியும் ஒட்டவைக்கிறதற்கு தேவன் வல்லவராயிருக்கிறாரே.

சுபாவத்தின்படி, காட்டொலிவமரத்திலிருந்து நீ வெட்டப்பட்டு, சுபாவத்திற்கு விரோதமாய் நல்ல ஒலிவமரத்திலே ஒட்டவைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தால், சுபாவக்கிளைகளாகிய அவர்கள் தங்கள் சுய ஒலிவமரத்திலே ஒட்டவைக்கப்படுவது அதிக நிச்சயமல்லவா?

மேலும், சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் உங்களையே புத்திமான்களென்று எண்ணாதபடிக்கு ஒரு இரகசியத்தை நீங்கள் அறியவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிறேன்; அதென்னவெனில், புறஜாதியாருடைய நிறைவு உண்டாகும்வரைக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலரிலொரு பங்குக்குக் கடினமான மனதுண்டாயிருக்கும்.

இந்தப்பிரகாரம் இஸ்ரவேலரெல்லாரும் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவார்கள். மீட்கிறவர் சீயோனிலிருந்து வந்து, அவபக்தியை யாக்கோபை விட்டு விலக்குவார் என்றும்;

நான் அவர்களுடைய பாவங்களை நீக்கும்போது, இதுவே நான் அவர்களுடனே செய்யும் உடன்படிக்கை என்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறது.

சுவிசேஷத்தைக்குறித்து அவர்கள் உங்கள்நிமித்தம் பகைஞராயிருக்கிறார்கள்; தெரிந்துகொள்ளுதலைக்குறித்து அவர்கள் பிதாக்களினிமித்தம் அன்புகூரப்பட்டவர்களாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.

தேவனுடைய கிருபைவரங்களும், அவர்களை அழைத்த அழைப்பும் மாறாதவைகளே.

ஆதலால், நீங்கள் முற்காலத்திலே தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதிருந்து, இப்பொழுது அவர்களுடைய கீழ்ப்படியாமையினாலே இரக்கம்பெற்றிருக்கிறதுபோல,

அவர்களும் இப்பொழுது கீழ்ப்படியாமலிருந்தும், பின்பு உங்களுக்குக்கிடைத்த இரக்கத்தினாலே இரக்கம் பெறுவார்கள்.

எல்லார்மேலும் இரக்கமாயிருக்கத்தக்கதாக, தேவன் எல்லாரையும் கீழ்ப்படியாமைக்குள்ளே அடைத்துப்போட்டார்.

ஆ! தேவனுடைய ஐசுவரியம், ஞானம், அறிவு என்பவைகளின் ஆழம் எவ்வளவாயிருக்கிறது! அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அளவிடப்படாதவைகள், அவருடைய வழிகள் ஆராயப்படாதவைகள்!

கர்த்தருடைய சிந்தையை அறிந்தவன் யார்? அவருக்கு ஆலோசனைக்காரனாயிருந்தவன் யார்?

தனக்குப் பதில் கிடைக்கும்படிக்கு முந்தி அவருக்கு ஒன்றைக் கொடுத்தவன் யார்?

சகலமும் அவராலும் அவர் மூலமாயும் அவருக்காகவும் இருக்கிறது; அவருக்கே என்றென்றைக்கும் மகிமையுண்டாவதாக. ஆமென்.

(ரோமர்  11:5-36)

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them: Let their eyes be darkened that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

வழியும், சத்தியமும், ஜீவனும் | WAY, SCRIPTURE AND LIFE

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

கர்த்தர் நல்லவரும் உத்தமருமாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆகையால் பாவிகளுக்கு வழியைத் தெரிவிக்கிறார்.
Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை நியாயத்திலே நடத்தி, சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தமது வழியைப் போதிக்கிறார்.
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற மனுஷன் எவனோ அவனுக்குத் தாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் வழியைப் போதிப்பார்.
What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

தேவன் எழுந்தருளுவார், அவருடைய சத்துருக்கள் சிதறுண்டு, அவரைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் அவருக்கு முன்பாக ஓடிப்போவார்கள்.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm or Song of David. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

    புகை பறக்கடிக்கப்படுவதுபோல அவர்களைப் பறக்கடிப்பீர்; மெழுகு அக்கினிக்குமுன் உருகுவதுபோல துன்மார்க்கர் தேவனுக்குமுன் அழிவார்கள்.

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

    நீதிமான்களோ தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக மகிழ்ந்து களிகூர்ந்து, ஆனந்த சந்தோஷமடைவார்கள்.

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

    தேவனைப்பாடி, அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; வனாந்தரங்களில் ஏறிவருகிறவருக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய நாமம் யேகோவா, அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் களிகூருங்கள்.

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

    தேவன் தனிமையானவர்களுக்கு வீடுவாசல் ஏற்படுத்தி, கட்டுண்டவர்களை விடுதலையாக்குகிறார்; துரோகிகளோ வறண்ட பூமியில் தங்குவார்கள்.

God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

    தேவனே, நீர் உம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு முன்னே சென்று, அவாந்தரவெளியிலே நடந்துவருகையில்,(சேலா.)

O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

    பூமி அதிர்ந்தது; தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக வானமும் பொழிந்தது; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகவே இந்தச் சீனாய் மலையும் அசைந்தது.

The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

    உம்முடைய மந்தை அதிலே தங்கியிருந்தது; தேவனே, உம்முடைய தயையினாலே ஏழைகளைப் பராமரிக்கிறீர்.

Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

    தேவரீர் உன்னதத்திற்கு ஏறி, சிறைப்பட்டவர்களைச் சிறையாக்கிக் கொண்டுபோனீர்; தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷருக்குள் வாசம்பண்ணும்பொருட்டு, துரோகிகளாகிய மனுஷர்களுக்காகவும் வரங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டீர்.

Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

    எந்நாளும் ஆண்டவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; நம்மேல் பாரஞ்சுமத்தினாலும் நம்மை இரட்சிக்கிற தேவன் அவரே. (சேலா.)

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

    என்னுடைய ஜனத்தைப் பாசானிலிருந்து திரும்ப அழைத்துவருவேன்; அதைச் சமுத்திர ஆழங்களிலிருந்தும் திரும்ப அழைத்துவருவேன் என்று ஆண்டவர் சொன்னார்.

That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

    தேவனே, உம்முடைய நடைகளைக் கண்டார்கள்; என் தேவனும் என் ராஜாவும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே நடந்துவருகிற நடைகளையே கண்டார்கள்.

They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

    முன்னாகப் பாடுகிறவர்களும், பின்னாக வீணைகளை வாசிக்கிறவர்களும், சுற்றிலும் தம்புரு வாசிக்கிற கன்னிகைகளும் நடந்தார்கள்.

The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

    இஸ்ரவேலின் ஊற்றிலிருந்து தோன்றினவர்களே, சபைகளின் நடுவே ஆண்டவராகிய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்.

Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

    அங்கே அவர்களை ஆளுகிற சின்ன பென்யமீனும், யூதாவின் பிரபுக்களும், அவர்கள் கூட்டமும், செபுலோனின் பிரபுக்களும், நப்தலியின் பிரபுக்களும் உண்டு.

There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

    பிரபுக்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து வருவார்கள்; எத்தியோப்பியா தேவனை நோக்கி கையெடுக்கத் தீவிரிக்கும்.

Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

    பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களே, தேவனைப் பாடி, ஆண்டவரைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுங்கள். (சேலா.)

Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

உடன்கட்டை ஏறுதல்

     பாரத தேசத்தில் ஒரு காலத்தில் மிகவும் வன்மையாக நிலவிவந்த கொடுமை "உடன்கட்டை ஏறும் வழக்கம்"

     உடன்கட்டை ஏறுதல் என்பது விவாஹமான கணவன் மனைவி தம்பதிகளில், கணவன் மரித்துவிடும்போது மனைவி உயிரோடிருந்தால், அப்புருஷனை எரிக்கும்போது மனைவியையும் உயிரோடு தள்ளி எரித்துவிடுவர்.

கி.பி 1828-இந்தியாவில் பக்தி இயக்கங்கள் தோன்றுதல்:     இந்தியாவில் பிரம்ம சமாஜம், பிரார்த்தனை சமாஜம், ஆர்ய சமாஜம், இராமகிருஷ்ணா மிஷன், பிரம்ம ஞான சபை போன்ற பக்தி இயக்கங்கள் தோன்றின; நாராயன குரு, ஈஸ்வர சந்திர வித்யாசாகர், கந்துகூரி வீரேசலிங்கம் போன்ற பக்திமான்கள் சமூக சேவையாற்றினர். இவற்றில் முக்கியமானது பிரம்ம சமாஜம். இதனை ராஜாராம் மோகன்ராய் என்பவர் ஏற்படுத்தினார். இவர் மேற்குவங்கத்தில் வைதீக பிராமண இந்துக் குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தவராவார். இவருக்கும் கிறிஸ்தவ மிஷினரி வில்லியம் கேரிக்கும் நல்ல தொடர்பு உண்டு; இவரும் வில்லியம் கேரியும் சேர்ந்து உடன்கட்டை ஏறும் வழக்கத்திற்கு எதிராக இங்கிலாந்து அரசை சட்டமியற்ற வைத்தனர்.

     இவர் ஆதிகாலத்து வேதங்களை புறக்கணித்தார். புராண நூல்களை எதிர்த்தார். கிறிஸ்துவின் போதனைகளை மிகவும் விரும்பினார். ஒன்றே குலம், ஒருவனே தேவன் என்று முழங்கினார். இவர் ஏற்படுத்திய பிரம்ம சமாஜம் ஏறக்குறைய கிறிஸ்தவ இயக்கம்போல் செயல்பட்டது. 1817ல் வங்காளத்தில் இந்துக் கல்லூரியை திறந்தார். இது பின்னாளில் மாநிலக் கல்லூரியானது. இவர் இறந்ததும் பிரம்ம சமாஜத்தில் பின்னடைவு ஏற்பட்டது. இதை மீண்டும் தேவேந்திரநாத் தாகூர் உயிர்ப்பித்தார். 54 கிளைகளுடன் பிரம்ம சமாஜம் தழைத்தது. பிறகு இது பிளவுபட்டது. தேவேந்திரநாத் தாகூர் தலைமையில் இருந்தவர்கள் தம்மை 'ஆதி பிரம்ம சமாஜம்' என்றழைத்துக்கொண்டனர். மற்றவர்கள் தங்களை 'இந்திய பிரம்ம சமாஜம்' என்றழைத்துக் கொண்டனர். இந்த சமாஜத்தில் தேவேந்திரநாத் தாகூருக்கு இணையான தலைவர் கேசவ் சந்திரசென் என்ற பிராமணராவார். இவர் பின்னாளில் கிறிஸ்தவரானார் 

     கேசவ் சந்திரசென் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவைப் பற்றியும், கிறிஸ்தவ மார்க்கத்தைப் பற்றியும், இங்கிலாந்திலும், இந்தியாவிலும் செய்த சுற்று பிரயாணங்களில் கூறியுள்ள அனுபவ சாட்சியத்தின் சுருக்கம்:

     "சாவுக்கீனமான பாவ வியாதியால் பீடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மனுஷர் மரணத்தருவாயில் அலறிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். சம்பூரண சுகத்தையளிக்கும் சஞ்சீவியொன்று யாவருக்கும் தேவைதான். இவ்வுலகில் இருந்தபோது ஜீவித்த மனுஷருக்கு அத்தியந்த அவசியமாய்க் காணப்பட்ட சஞ்சீவி இந்த இயேசுவே. இவரே தன் ஆத்மீ்க போதனையால் இருண்ட உலகத்தை பிரகாசிப்பித்தார். தன் வல்லமையால் இவ்வுலகத்தை மீட்டு இரட்சித்தார். தான் சிந்தின இரத்தத்தால் கடந்த 1800 வருடங்களாய் இவ்வாறான அற்புதச் செயல்களை நடத்தியுள்ளார். எல்லா மனு மக்கற்கும் மேலாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டவர் இவரல்லவா? இவரே அதிசயப்படத்தக்க இயேசு! உலகோர் யாவரும் இவரையே எக்காலத்தும் துதிக்குப் பாத்திரராக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்" எனக் கூறியுள்ளார்.

     அன்றியும் 'கிறிஸ்து யாரென இந்தியா அறிய ஆசிக்கிறது' எனும் தலையங்கமுள்ளவோர் பிரசங்கத்தில் "இந்தியாவில் கிறிஸ்து மார்க்க சித்தாந்தங்களும், ஏற்பாட்டு நிலையங்களும் ஸ்திரமாக வேரூன்றி விருத்தியடைந்து வருகின்றனவல்லவா? லிட்டன் பிரபு இந்தியாவை தன்னுடைய ஆலோசனைச் சபையால் ஆண்டார் எனக் கூறினும் சரி; ஹேயின் பிரபு தன்னுடைய யுத்த சைனியங்களின் பராக்கிரமத்தால் ஆண்டார் எனக் கூறினும் சரி, எப்படியும் இந்தியராகிய எங்களுடைய இருதயங்களைத் துவளச் செய்யக்கூடியது யுக்தியுமல்ல, கத்தியுமல்ல. ஏனெனில் எவரும் சேனைகளின் பலத்தால், எந்த தேசத்தினருடைய இதயத்தையும் ஜெயித்துவிட்டதாக காணோம். எங்கள் இருதயங்களை அசைத்ததும், கவர்ந்ததும், அடக்கிவிட்டதும் ஒரு மேலான சக்தி; அந்த சக்தி கிறிஸ்துவே.

     விலைமதிக்கப் படாததும், பிரகாசிப்பித்து ஜொலிப்பதுமான இந்திய கிரீடத்தை தரித்துக்கொள்ளக்கூடிய யோக்கிதையுடையவர் இயேசுவேயன்றி வேறொருவருமல்லர். இதை நான் உண்மையாகவே சொல்கிறேன். எக்காலத்தும் இந்திய கிரீடத்தை இயேசுவே தரித்திருப்பாராக. எனக்கு சொந்தமானவரும், இன்பமானவரும் இயசுவே; என் இருதயத்தை பிரகாசிப்பிக்கும் இரத்தினமும் கிறிஸ்துவே; என் நிர்பந்த இருதயத்தால் கடந்த 20 வருஷங்களாய் ! நான் அவரை நேசித்து வருகிறேன்; என் ஆத்துமாவிற்கு மணமாலை சூடியவர் இயேசுவே; சந்திப்பின் நாளில், இந்தியாவாகிய மனையாட்டியும் அவரை தகுந்தவாறு வரவேற்கும்படிக்குப் பரிசுத்தமான உடையைத் தரித்துக்கொள்வதாக!" எனக் கூறியுள்ளார்.

கி.பி.1830-இந்தியாவில் கிறிஸ்தவ மிஷனரி வில்லிம் கேரியின் சமூக சேவை பிரபலமடைதல்:வேதாகமத்தை பல இந்திய மொழிகளில் மொழிபெயர்த்து அச்சிட்டு வெளியிட்டார். ராஜாராம் மோகன்ராய் உடன்கட்டை ஏறும் பழக்கத்திற்கு எதிராக போராடினார் என்றாலும் ஆங்கிலேய அரசாங்கத்துக்கும் அவருக்குமிடையில் ஒரு நெருக்கம் இல்லை. ஆனால் இந்தியாவின் அப்போதைய வைசிராய் வில்லியம் பெண்டிங் பிரபுவுக்கும், வில்லியம் கேரிக்குமிடையே ஒரு பிணைப்பு இருந்தது. எனவே வில்லியம் கேரியின் மூலமாகத்தான் பெண்டிங் பிரபு உடன்கட்டை ஏறும் வழக்கத்திற்கெதிராக சட்டம் இயற்றினார். வில்லியம் கேரி கிறிஸ்தவ ஆன்மீகப் பணிகளிலும், சமூக சேவையாற்றுவதிலும் ஓர் ஒப்பற்ற ஊழியத்தை நிறைவேற்றினார். பின்னாளில் இந்திய அரசாங்கம் இவரது சேவையை பாராட்டி இவரது உருவம் பொரித்த தபால் தலையை வெளியிட்டது.

வேத ஆதாரம்:இயேசு தம்மை விசுவாசித்த யூதர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் என் உபதேசத்தில் நிலைத்திருந்தால் மெய்யாகவே என் சீஷராயிருப்பீர்கள்;

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; சத்தியத்தையும் அறிவீர்கள், சத்தியம் உங்களை விடுதலையாக்கும் என்றார். And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. அவர்கள் அவருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நாங்கள் ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியாயிருக்கிறோம், நாங்கள் ஒருக்காலும் ஒருவனுக்கும் அடிமைகளாயிருக்கவில்லை; விடுதலையாவீர்களென்று நீர் எப்படிச் சொல்லுகிறீர் என்றார்கள். They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? இயேசு அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: பாவஞ்செய்கிறவன் எவனும் பாவத்துக்கு அடிமையாயிருக்கிறான் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. அடிமையானவன் என்றைக்கும் வீட்டிலே நிலைத்திரான்; குமாரன் என்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார். And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. ஆகையால் குமாரன் உங்களை விடுதலையாக்கினால் மெய்யாகவே விடுதலையாவீர்கள், If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

(யோவான் 8:31-36) என்கிற சத்திய வேத வசனமே நிரூபணமாகியுள்ளது.

  இரட்சணியமென்னும் தலைச்சீராவையும், தேவவசனமாகிய ஆவியின் பட்டயத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

இடுக்கமான வாசல் வழியாய் உட்பிரவேசியுங்கள்; கேட்டுக்குப் போகிற வாசல் விரிவும், வழி விசாலமுமாயிருக்கிறது; அதின் வழியாய்ப் பிரவேசிக்கிறவர்கள் அநேகர். ஜீவனுக்குப் போகிற வாசல் இடுக்கமும், வழி நெருக்கமுமாயிருக்கிறது; அதைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவர்கள் சிலர்.

1. ஆகையால், நாம் கேட்டவைகளைவிட்டு விலகாதபடிக்கு, அவைகளை மிகுந்த ஜாக்கிரதையாய்க் கவனிக்கவேண்டும். 2. ஏனெனில், தேவதூதர் மூலமாய்ச் சொல்லப்பட்ட வசனத்திற்கு விரோதமான எந்தச் செய்கைக்கும் கீழ்ப்படியாமைக்கும் நீதியான தண்டனை வரத்தக்கதாக அவர்களுடைய வசனம் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்க, 3. முதலாவது கர்த்தர் மூலமாய் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு, பின்பு அவரிடத்தில் கேட்டவர்களாலே நமக்கு உறுதியாக்கப்பட்டதும், 4. அடையாளங்களினாலும் அற்புதங்களினாலும் பலவிதமான பலத்த செய்கைகளினாலும், தம்முடைய சித்தத்தின்படி பகிர்ந்துகொடுத்த பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் வரங்களினாலும், தேவன் தாமே சாட்சிகொடுத்ததுமாயிருக்கிற இவ்வளவு பெரிதான இரட்சிப்பைக்குறித்து நாம் கவலையற்றிருப்போமானால் தண்டனைக்கு எப்படித் தப்பித்துக்கொள்ளுவோம். 5. இனிவரும் உலகத்தைக்குறித்துப் பேசுகிறோமே, அதை அவர் தூதர்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தவில்லை. 6. ஒரு இடத்திலே ஒருவன் சாட்சியாக: மனுஷனை நீர் நினைக்கிறதற்கும், மனுஷனுடைய குமாரனை நீர் விசாரிக்கிறதற்கும் அவன் எம்மாத்திரம்? 7. அவனை தேவதூதரிலும் சற்றுச் சிறியவனாக்கினீர்; மகிமையினாலும் கனத்தினாலும் அவனுக்கு முடிசூட்டி, உம்முடைய கரத்தின் கிரியைகளின் மேல் அவனை அதிகாரியாக வைத்து, சகலத்தையும் அவனுடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினீர் என்று சொன்னான். 8. சகலத்தையும் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினார் என்கிற விஷயத்தில், அவர் அவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தாத பொருளொன்றுமில்லை; அப்படியிருந்தும், இன்னும் அவனுக்குச் சகலமும் கீழ்ப்பட்டிருக்கக் காணோம். 9. என்றாலும், தேவனுடைய கிருபையினால் ஒவ்வொருவருக்காகவும், மரணத்தை ருசிபார்க்கும்படிக்கு தேவதூதரிலும் சற்றுச் சிறியவராக்கப்பட்டிருந்த இயேசு மரணத்தை உத்தரித்ததினிமித்தம் மகிமையினாலும் கனத்தினாலும் முடிசூட்டப்பட்டதைக் காண்கிறோம். 10. ஏனென்றால் தமக்காகவும் தம்மாலேயும் சகலத்தையும் உண்டாக்கினவர், அநேகம் பிள்ளைகளை மகிமையில் கொண்டுவந்து சேர்க்கையில் அவர்களுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் அதிபதியை உபவத்திரவங்களினாலே பூரணப்படுத்துகிறது அவருக்கேற்றதாயிருந்தது. 11. எப்படியெனில், பரிசுத்தஞ்செய்கிறவரும் பரிசுத்தஞ்செய்யப்படுகிறவர்களுமாகிய யாவரும் ஒருவரால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; இதினிமித்தம் அவர்களைச் சகோதரரென்று சொல்ல அவர் வெட்கப்படாமல்: 12. உம்முடைய நாமத்தை என் சகோதரருக்கு அறிவித்து, சபை நடுவில் உம்மைத் துதித்துப் பாடுவேன் என்றும்; 13. நான் அவரிடத்தில் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பேன் என்றும்; இதோ, நானும், தேவன் எனக்குக் கொடுத்த பிள்ளைகளும் என்றும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். 14. ஆதலால், பிள்ளைகள் மாம்சத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உடையவர்களாயிருக்க, அவரும் அவர்களைப்போல மாம்சத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உடையவரானார்; மரணத்துக்கு அதிகாரியாகிய பிசாசானவனைத் தமது மரணத்தினாலே அழிக்கும்படிக்கும், 15. ஜீவகாலமெல்லாம் மரணபயத்தினாலே அடிமைத்தனத்திற்குள்ளானவர்கள் யாவரையும் விடுதலைபண்ணும்படிக்கும் அப்படியானார். 16. ஆதலால், அவர் தேவதூதருக்கு உதவியாகக் கைகொடாமல், ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததிக்கு உதவியாகக் கைகொடுத்தார். 17. அன்றியும், அவர் ஜனத்தின் பாவங்களை நிவிர்த்தி செய்வதற்கேதுவாக, தேவகாரியங்களைக்குறித்து இரக்கமும் உண்மையுமுள்ள பிரதான ஆசாரியாராயிருக்கும்படிக்கு எவ்விதத்திலும் தம்முடைய சகோதரருக்கு ஒப்பாகவேண்டியதாயிருந்தது. 18. ஆதலால், அவர்தாமே சோதிக்கப்பட்டுப் பாடுபட்டதினாலே, அவர் சோதிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்ய வல்லவராயிருக்கிறார்.

1. Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. 2. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; 3. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 4. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? 5. For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. 6. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7. Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 8. Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. இயேசு ஒரு சிறு பிள்ளையைத் தம்மிடத்தில் அழைத்து: அதை அவர்கள் நடுவே நிறுத்தி: நீங்கள் மனந்திரும்பிப் பிள்ளைகளைப்போல் ஆகாவிட்டால், பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கமாட்டீர்கள் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். ஆகையால் இந்தப்பிள்ளையைப்போலத் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்துகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனே பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் பெரியவனாயிருப்பான். இப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு பிள்ளையை என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான். என்னிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிற இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனுக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்குகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனுடைய கழுத்தில் ஏந்திரக்கல்லைக் கட்டி, சமுத்திரத்தின் ஆழத்திலே அவனை அமிழ்த்துகிறது அவனுக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும். இடறல்களினிமித்தம் உலகத்துக்கு ஐயோ, இடறல்கள் வருவது அவசியம். ஆனாலும் எந்த மனுஷனால் இடறல் வருகிறதோ, அவனுக்கு ஐயோ! உன் கையாவது உன் காலாவது உனக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்கினால், அதைத் தறித்து எறிந்துபோடு; நீ இரண்டு கையுடையவனாய், அல்லது இரண்டு காலுடையவனாய் நித்திய அக்கினியிலே தள்ளப்படுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், சப்பாணியாய், அல்லது ஊனனாய், நித்திய ஜீவனுக்குள் பிரவேசிப்பது உனக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும். உன் கண் உனக்கு இடறலுண்டாக்கினால், அதைப் பிடுங்கி எறிந்துபோடு; இரண்டு கண்ணுள்ளவனாய், எரிநரகத்தில் தள்ளப்படுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், ஒற்றைக்கண்ணனாய் ஜீவனுக்குள் பிரவேசிப்பது உனக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும். இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனையும் அற்பமாய் எண்ணாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; அவர்களுக்குரிய தேவதூதர்கள் பரலோகத்திலே என் பரமபிதாவின் சமுகத்தை எப்பொழுதும் தரிசிக்கிறார்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். மனுஷகுமாரன் கெட்டுப்போனதை இரட்சிக்க வந்தார். உங்களுக்கு எப்படித் தோன்றுகிறது? ஒரு மனுஷனுக்கு நூறு ஆடுகளிருக்க, அவைகளில் ஒன்று சிதறிப்போனால், அவன் மற்றத் தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது ஆடுகளையும் மலைகளில் விட்டுப்போய்ச் சிதறிப்போனதைத் தேடாமலிருப்பானோ? அவன் அதைக்கண்டுபிடித்தால், சிதறிப்போகாத தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது ஆடுகளைக்குறித்துச் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறதைப் பார்க்கிலும், அதைக்குறித்து அதிகமாய்ச் சந்தோஷப்படுவான் என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். இவ்விதமாக, இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனாகிலும் கெட்டுப்போவது பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற உங்கள் பிதாவின் சித்தமல்ல. உன் சகோதரன் உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் குற்றஞ்செய்தால், அவனிடத்தில் நீ போய், நீயும் அவனும் தனித்திருக்கையில், அவன் குற்றத்தை அவனுக்கு உணர்த்து; அவன் உனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தால், உன் சகோதரனை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாய். அவன் செவிகொடாமற்போனால், இரண்டு மூன்று சாட்சிகளுடைய வாக்கினாலே சங்கதிகளெல்லாம் நிலைவரப்படும்படி, இரண்டொருவரை உன்னுடனே கூட்டிக்கொண்டு போ. அவர்களுக்கும் அவன் செவிகொடாமற்போனால், அதைச் சபைக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்து; சபைக்கும் செவிகொடாதிருப்பானானால், அவன் உனக்கு அஞ்ஞானியைப்போலவும் ஆயக்காரனைப்போலவும் இருப்பானாக. பூலோகத்திலே நீங்கள் எவைகளைக் கட்டுவீர்களோ அவைகள் பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கும்; பூலோகத்திலே நீங்கள் எவைகளைக் கட்டவிழ்ப்பீர்களோ அவைகள் பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டவிழ்க்கப்படும் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். அல்லாமலும், உங்களில் இரண்டுபேர் தாங்கள் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளப்போகிற எந்தக் காரியத்தைக்குறித்தாகிலும் பூமியிலே ஒருமனப்பட்டிருந்தால், பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவினால் அது அவர்களுக்கு உண்டாகும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். ஏனெனில், இரண்டு பேராவது மூன்று பேராவது என் நாமத்தினாலே எங்கே கூடியிருக்கிறார்களோ, அங்கே அவர்கள் நடுவிலே இருக்கிறேன் என்றார்.

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as a heathen man and a publican. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

வருத்தப்பட்டுப் பாரஞ்சுமக்கிறவர்களே! நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்; நான் உங்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் தருவேன்.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம் | HOLY SCRIPTURE 


 

மனுக்குலத்தை சிருஷ்டித்த தேவன் மனிதனுக்கு கொடுத்த விலையேறப்பெற்ற பொக்கிஷம் பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம். இதன் ஆசிரியர் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவா்(2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:16). 66 புத்தகங்கள் கொண்ட இதனை 40 தேவ மனிதர்கள் வெவ்வேறு காலங்களில் வெவ்வேறு சூழ்நிலைகளில் தேவ ஆவியின் அருளால் எழுதினார்கள். இதனை எழுதிமுடிக்க இடைப்பட்ட காலம் சுமார் 1600(கி.மு 1500-கி.பி 100) ஆண்டுகள். இதில் 1189 அதிகாரங்களும் 31,104 வசனங்களும் உள்ளது.
இது பழைய ஏற்பாடு புதிய ஏற்பாடு என இரண்டு பிரிவுகள் கொண்டது. 
பழைய ஏற்பாடு 39 புத்தகங்கள் கொண்டது; புதிய ஏற்பாடு 27 புத்தகங்கள் கொண்டதாகும்.
பழைய ஏற்பாடு எபிரேயு மொழியில் எழுதப்பட்டது. அரமாயிக் பாஷையில் சில பகுதிகள் (ஏஸ்ரா 4:8 - 6:18, 7:12-26, எரேமியா 10:11, தானியேல் 2:4 - 7:28)மட்டும் எழுதப்பட்டது. புதிய ஏற்பாடு கிரேக்க மொழியில் எழுதப்பட்டது. கிரேக்க மொழியில் பிப்ளியா(புத்தகங்கள்). ஆங்கிலத்தில் BIBLE என்றும், பிப்ளியோ தெக்கா திவீனா(தேவ நூலகம்) என்றும், தமிழில் பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. செப்டுவஜின்ட் மொழி பெயர்ப்பில் தானி 9:2ல் வரும் புஸ்தக சுருள் என்ற சொல்லுக்கு டாய்ஸ் பிப்ளோஸ்(புத்தகங்கள்) என்ற சொல் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.  
ஏற்பாடு என்றால் என்ன?
ஏற்பாடு என்றால் உடன்படிக்கை அல்லது ஒப்பந்தம் என்பது பொருள். கிரேக்க மொழியில் டையாதெகே(Dia the ka) என்றும் லத்தின் மொழியில் டெஸ்டமென்டம்(Testamentum) என்றும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் டெஸ்டமென்ட்(Testament) என்றும் பொருள்படும். 

 புதிய ஏற்பாடு : புதிய ஏற்பாடுகொடுக்கப்பட்டபின் தானாக் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட யூதர்களின் வேதம் பழைய ஏற்பாடு என்ற பெயரில் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

பழைய ஏற்பாடு : தேவன் மோசே மூலம் இஸ்ரவேலரோடு செய்த உடன்படிக்கை (நியாயப்பிரமாணம் உள்ளடக்கியது) கி.மு 1446-ல் நியாயப்பிரமாணம் மோசே மூலம் அருளப்பட்டது.

புதிய ஏற்பாடு தேவன், இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் முழு உலகத்திற்கும் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட இரட்சிப்பின் உடன்படிக்கை(கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் உள்ளடக்கியது)

 காலங்கள், மனிதர்கள்,சூழ்நிலைகள் மாறலாம்;தேவன் மாறாதவர். கிருபையின் பிரமாணம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மூலமாக உலகமனைத்திலும் உள்ள மனிதர்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. ஆரம்பத்தில் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களுக்கு 5 ஆகமம்தான் வேதமாக இருந்தது ( மோசேயின் ஆகமங்கள் ).

 பழைய ஏற்பாடு மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட வரலாறு:

எபிரேய மொழியிலிருந்த பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு புஸ்தகத்தை ஏன் கிரேக்க மொழியில் மொழிபெயர்த்தார்கள்? மல்கியா தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து 150 வருடத்திற்கு பிறகு, யூதர்களின் வேமாகிய தானாக்கை மொழிபெயர்ப்பு செய்யத்தொடங்கினார்கள். அது ஏன் என்றால் அப்போது யூதர்களை ஆளுகை செய்தது ரோமர்கள். ரோமர்களுக்கு முன் கிரேக்கர்கள் ஆட்சியின் கீழ் தேசம் இருந்தபடியால் அங்கு கிரேக்க மொழி பிரபலமாக காணப்பட்டது. யூதர்களின் மொழியாகிய எபிரெய மொழியை எல்லார்லும் படிக்க முடியவில்லை. கிரேக்கர்களின் மொழியாகிய கிரேக்கம், எழுத பேச படிக்க ஆம்பித்தார்கள். யூதர்கள் சந்ததி வேதத்தை படிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக எபிரெய மொழியில் இருந்த தோராவை முதலாவது கிரேக்க மொழியில் மொழிபெயர்த்தார்கள். ஒரு கோத்திரத்திற்கு 6பேர் என்று 12கோத்திரத்திற்கு 72பேர் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து, கி.மு250, தாலமி இராஜாவின் காலத்தில், பிரதான ஆசாரியன் எலெயசர் நாட்களில், அலெக்சந்திரியா நாட்டில் பாரோஸ்தீவில் வெவ்வேறு இடத்திலிருந்து 72 பேரும் 72நாட்களில் தோராவை மொழிபெயர்த்தார்கள். இவர்கள் மொழி பெயர்த்ததில் தவறு ஒன்றும் இல்லாதபடியினால் மீதம் உள்ள அனைத்து புத்தகத்தையும்(தானாக்) மொழி பெயர்க்க கொடுத்தார்கள்.d இவையனைத்தையும் மொழிபெயர்த்து செப்டுவஜின்ட் என்று பெயர்வைத்தார்கள்.

இந்த வேதத்தை மூன்று பிரிவாக பிரித்தார்கள்

 தள்ளுபடி ஆகமம் ஏன் நீக்கப்பட்டது?

      இயேசு கிறி்ஸ்துவின் நாட்களிலும் அப்போஸ்தலர் நாட்களிலும் இந்த செப்டுவஜின்ட் வேதத்திலிருந்துதான் எடுத்து பேசினார்கள். தள்ளுபடி ஆகமம் என்று சொல்லப்படுகிற 7 புத்தகத்திலிருந்து ஒரு வார்த்தை கூட பேசவில்லை. இதனால்தான் நம்முடைய வேதத்தில் தள்ளுபடி ஆகமம் சேர்க்கபடவில்லை. ஆண்டவரும் சீஷர்களும் தள்ளுபடி ஆகமத்திலிருந்து ஒருவசனம்கூட எடுத்தாளப்படாததை காணும்போது அவர்கள் அனைவரும் தள்ளுபடி ஆகமத்தை வேதப்பகுதியாகDd அங்கீகரிக்கவில்லை என்று காணப்படுகிறது. 

 மோசேயின் நாட்களுக்கும் மல்கியாவின் காலத்திற்கும் இடைவெளி 1000 வருடம். யூதர்களின் மொழியாகிய எபிரெய மொழி இதுவரை மாறாதமொழி; சிறப்பான மொழி; ஆனபடியினால்தான் எபிரெய மொழியை தேவன் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தார். (உதாரணம்:தமிழ் ஒவ்வொரு ஊருக்கும் ஒருசில பொருள் பெயர் மாறும். கிராமத்தில் சீனி என்ற பெயர் சென்னையில் சர்க்கரை என்று பெயர். பொருள் ஒன்றுதான்; பெயர் வெவ்வேறு.) எபிரெய மொழி எல்லா காலங்களிலும் எல்லா ஊர்களிலும் மாறாத மொழி.

    பழைய ஏற்பாடு 30பேர், புதிய ஏற்பாடு 10பேர்; தேவன் அருளி மனிதர்கள் எழுதினார்கள்.

C.வேதம் காக்கப்பட்ட வரலாறு:

    வேதத்தை பலர் அழிக்க நினைத்தனர். எனவே பானை, குகை, மலை, என பல இடங்களில் ஒளித்து வைத்து காக்கப்பட்டது.

சாக்கடல் சுருள்கள்:(உதாரணம்)

கி.பி 1947ல் சாக்கடல் மேல்பகுதியில் உள்ள கும்ரான் குகையில், எரிகோவிற்கு சுமார் 8மைல் தொலைவில் ஒரு குதிருக்குள் ஒரு தோல்சுருள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது(ப.ஏ_எபிரெய முழு வேதாகமம்). கி.பி 68ல் அதை அங்கு வைத்திருப்பார்கள் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது. சுமார் 1900ஆண்டுகள் குதிர் போன்ற பானைக்குள் பத்திரமாக இருந்தன;இது தேவனின் அற்புத செயல்.

D.வேதம் தொகுக்கப்பட்ட வரலாறு:

Canon:வேதபுத்தகத்தை தொகுக்க தேவ மனிதர்கள்(புதிய ஏற்பாடு) பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் துணையோடு பல இடங்களில் இருந்த புஸ்தகங்களை ஒன்று சேர்த்து அதை வேதப்புத்தகத்தில் சேர்க்க ஓர் அளவுகோளை(Canon) பயன்படுத்தினார்கள்.

1.அதை எழுதினவர்கள்(ஆசிரியர்கள்) மக்களால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட தீர்க்கதரிசியாகவோ, அப்போஸ்தலனாகவோ, உடன் பணியாளராகவோ இருக்க வேண்டும்.

2.ஒன்றுக்கு ஒன்று முரண்பாடு இருக்கக் கூடாது.

3.ஆதிசபைகளால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டதாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

பழைய ஏற்பாடு:

    கிறிஸ்து பிறக்கும் முன்னமே யூதர்களால் அதின் நூல்கள் சரியானவைகள் என்று அடையாளம் காணப்பட்டு 39 நூல்களாக தொகுக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

புதிய ஏற்பாடு:

    27 புத்தகங்கள் அடையாளம் காணப்பட்டு தொகுக்கப்பட்டது. தனித்தனி புஸ்தகங்களாக, சுருள்களாக இருந்ததை ஒவ்வொன்றாக சேர்த்து தொகுத்தார்கள். பின்பு படித்து புரிந்துகொள்ள ஏதுவாக அதிகாரங்களாக வசனங்களாக பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

E.வேதம் மொழி பெயர்க்கப்பட்ட வரலாறு:

    எபிரெய மொழியிலிருந்த தானாக்கை(ப.ஏ) கிரேக்க மொழியில் செப்டுவஜின்டாக மொழிபெயர்த்தனர். புதிய ஏற்பாடு முற்றிலும் கிரேக்க மொழியில்தான் எழுதப்பட்டது. பின்பு எபிரெயம், கிரேக்க வேதங்கள் பல மொழிகளில் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டது.

F.வேதம் எழுதப்பட்ட மொழிகளின் வரலாறு:

பழைய ஏற்பாடு: எபிரெயம், அரமாயிக்(சில பகுதிகள்) மொழியில் எழுதப்பட்டது. 

புதிய ஏற்பாடு:கிரேக்க மொழியில் எழுதப்பட்டது.

எபிரெய மொழி:

 இது யூதர்களின் பாஷையாகும். இது பல சிறப்புத்தன்மைகளைக்கொண்டது. வலது பக்கத்திலிருந்து இடது பக்கமாக எழுதவேண்டும். உயிர் எழுத்து வடிவங்கள் இல்லாத மொழி. 22 மெய் எழுத்து வடிவங்களே உள்ளன. வெறும் மெய் எழுத்து வடிவங்களைக் கொண்டே பழைய ஏற்பாடு எழுதப்பட்டது. மோசே முதல் மல்கியா(சுமார் 1000) ஆண்டுகள் வரை எழுதப்பட்ட புத்தகங்களில் மாறாத ஒரு மொழி ஒற்றுமை காணப்பட்டது இதன் சிறப்பு ஆகும். பல ஆண்டுகளுக்குப்பின் வாசிக்க மற்றும் உச்சரிப்பின் வசதிக்காக மாசோரேட்ஸ் என்பவர்களால் உயிர் எழுத்து அடையாளங்கள் போடப்பட்டது.

மாசோரேட்ஸ்:

இவர்கள் கி.பி 500-900 வரை இயங்கி வந்த வேதபாரகர் குழுவினர்; திபேரியாவை தலைமை இடமாக கொண்டு பழைய ஏற்பாட்டை மிக நேர்த்தியாக செப்பனிட்டு தரப்படுத்தினர். எபிரெய மொழியில் சிறந்த உயிரெழுத்து உச்சரிப்பை சேர்த்தனர். பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில் நகல் எடுக்கும்போது தவறு ஏற்படாமல் இருக்க சொற்களையும், எழுத்துக்களையும் எண்ணி வகைப்டுத்தினர்.

அரமாயிக்: அரமேயம் என்று சொல்லப்படும் மொழியானது எபிரெய மொழியின் ஒரு வகை பேச்சுவழக்கு மொழியாகும். சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து மீண்டு வந்த இஸ்ரவேலர் பெருமளவு அரமேயு மொழியில் பேசிவந்தனர். இயேசுவின் காலத்தில் அரமேயம், கிரேக்கம் ஆகிய மொழிகள் பேச்சுவழக்கில் இருந்தன. 

கிரேக்கம்: புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின் 27 புத்தகங்களும் கிரேக்க மொழியில் எழுதப்பட்டது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மற்றும் அப்போஸ்தலர் காலத்திலும் இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தில் கிரேக்க மொழி, எழுத்து மற்றும் பேச்சு மொழியாக இருந்தது. கிரேக்க மொழி கிரேக்கர்களின் மொழி. கிரேக்க சாம்ராஜ்யம் உலகில் அநேக நாடுகளில் பரவியிருந்த காலத்தில்(அலெக்சாண்டர் ஆட்சி காலத்தில்) கிரேக்க மொழி பல நாடுகளில் பரவலாக பரவி பேசப்பட்டது, எழுதப்பட்டது.

ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்ட வரலாறு:

பிரின்டிங் செய்யப்பட்டது:

    தேவனுடைய கிருபையால் தற்சமயம் உலகமெங்கும் சுமார் 2000திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மொழிகளில் வேதம் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டு படிக்கப்படுகிறது. இன்னும் பல மொழிகளில் மொழி பெயர்க்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

G.வேதம் உயோகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட வரலாறு:

    பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் காலத்தில் தேவாலயம் மற்றும் ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் வைத்து வாசிக்கப்பட்டது. வேதபாரகரிடம் மட்டும் இருக்கும்; ராஜாவிற்கோ மற்றவர்களுக்கோ தேவைப்பட்டால் தனியாக ஒரு பிரதி எழுதிக்கொள்ள வேண்டும், ஆட்டுத்தோலை பதப்படுத்தி எழுதினார்கள். பேப்பர் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டபின் பேப்பரில் எழுதினார்கள்.  ஆரம்பத்தில் மையினாலும், இறகினாலும் எழுதினார்கள்.

H.வேதம்_ தற்போதைய நிலையின் வரலாறு:

    இப்பொழுது ப.ஏ-பு.ஏ ஒன்றாக சேர்க்கப்பட்டு அனைவரின் கரங்களிலும் இருக்கிறது.

I.தமிழ் வேதாகமம் கிடைத்த வரலாறு:

    டென்மார்க் நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த பர்தலொமேயு சீகன்பால்க் என்பவர்(1682) பிராட்டஸ்டன்ட் லுத்திரன் சபையைச் சேர்ந்தவர். கி.பி1706ம் ஆண்டு தமிழ் நாட்டிலுள்ள நாகப்பட்டனத்தை சேர்ந்த தரங்கம்பாடிக்கு மிஷனெரியாக வந்து சேர்ந்தார். ஊழியத்தின் நிமித்தம் கி.பி1707-08ல் 4மாதங்கள் சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டார். வெளியே வந்த பிறகு தமிழ் மொழியை நன்கு கற்று, கிரேக்க மொழியில் இருந்த புதிய ஏற்பாட்டை மொழிபெயர்த்தார். பின்பு டாடில் பிரின்டிங் மெஷினைக் கொண்டுவந்து ஆசியாவிலேயே முதன் முதலாக புதிய ஏற்பாட்டை தமிழில் அச்சடித்தார்.

1770ல் ஜோகன் பிலிப் பேப்ரிஸியாஸ், ஜெர்மனியை சேர்ந்த இவர் சீகன்பால்க் மொழிபெயர்த்த தமிழ் வேதாகமத்தை(RESET) சரிசெய்து கொடுத்தார்.

யாழ்ப்பாணத்தைச் சேர்ந்த நல்லூர் ஆறுமுகம் நாவலர் செய்த தமிழ் மொழிபெயர்ப்பு நல்ல மொழிபெயர்ப்பாக(BEST) கருதப்பட்டது.

சீக்கிரத்தில் சம்பவிக்கவேண்டியவைகளைத் தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரருக்குக் காண்பிக்கும்பொருட்டு, தேவன் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஒப்புவித்ததும், இவர் தம்முடைய தூதனை அனுப்பி, தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய யோவானுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினதுமான விசேஷம்.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:   இவன் தேவனுடைய வசனத்தைக்குறித்தும், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிய சாட்சியைக்குறித்தும், தான் கண்ட யாவற்றையும் சாட்சியாக அறிவித்திருக்கிறான். ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவர் முத்திரைகளில் ஒன்றை உடைக்கக்கண்டேன். அப்பொழுது நான்கு ஜீவன்களில் ஒன்று என்னை நோக்கி: நீ வந்து பார் என்று இடிமுழக்கம்போன்ற சத்தமாய்ச் சொல்லக்கேட்டேன்.

 அவர் நாலாம் முத்திரையை உடைத்தபோது, நாலாம் ஜீவனானது: நீ வந்துபார் என்று சொல்லுஞ் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டேன்.And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
 நான் பார்த்தபோது, இதோ, மங்கினநிறமுள்ள ஒரு குதிரையைக் கண்டேன்; அதின்மேல் ஏறியிருந்தவனுக்கு மரணம் என்று பெயர்; பாதாளம் அவன்பின் சென்றது. பட்டயத்தினாலும், பஞ்சத்தினாலும், சாவினாலும், பூமியின் துஷ்டமிருகங்களினாலும், பூமியின் காற்பங்கிலுள்ளவர்களைக் கொலைசெய்யும்படியான அதிகாரம் அவைகளுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
 அவர் ஐந்தாம் முத்திரையை உடைத்தபோது, தேவவசனத்தினிமித்தமும் தாங்கள் கொடுத்த சாட்சியினிமித்தமும் கொல்லப்பட்டவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமாக்களைப் பலிபீடத்தின்கீழே கண்டேன்.And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
 அவர்கள்: பரிசுத்தமும் சத்தியமுமுள்ள ஆண்டவரே, தேவரீர் பூமியின்மேல் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களிடத்தில் எங்கள் இரத்தத்தைக்குறித்து எதுவரைக்கும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச்செய்யாமலும் பழிவாங்காமலும் இருப்பீர் என்று மகா சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள்.And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் வெள்ளை அங்கிகள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது; அன்றியும், அவர்கள் தங்களைப்போலக் கொலைசெய்யப்படப்போகிறவர்களாகிய தங்கள் உடன்பணிவிடைக்காரரையும் தங்கள் சகோதரருமானவர்களின் தொகை நிறைவாகுமளவும் இன்னுங்கொஞ்சக்காலம் இளைப்பாறவேண்டும் என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்பட்டது.And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
 அவர் ஆறாம் முத்திரையை உடைக்கக்கண்டேன்; இதோ, பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது; சூரியன் கறுப்புக் கம்பளியைப்போலக் கறுத்தது; சந்திரன் இரத்தம்போலாயிற்று.And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
 அத்திமரமானது பெருங்காற்றினால் அசைக்கப்படும்போது, அதின் காய்கள் உதிருகிறதுபோல, வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்களும் பூமியிலே விழுந்தது.And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
 வானமும் சுருட்டப்பட்ட புஸ்தகம்போலாகி விலகிப்போயிற்று; மலைகள் தீவுகள் யாவும் தங்கள் இடங்களைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோயின.And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
 பூமியின் ராஜாக்களும், பெரியோர்களும், ஐசுவரியவான்களும், சேனைத்தலைவர்களும், பலவான்களும், அடிமைகள் யாவரும், சுயாதீனர் யாவரும், பர்வதங்களின் குகைகளிலும் கன்மலைகளிலும் ஒளித்துக்கொண்டு,And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
 பர்வதங்களையும் கன்மலைகளையும் நோக்கி: நீங்கள் எங்கள்மேல் விழுந்து, சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கிறவருடைய முகத்திற்கும், ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடைய கோபத்திற்கும் எங்களை மறைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்;And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
 அவருடைய கோபாக்கினையின் மகா நாள் வந்துவிட்டது, யார் நிலைநிற்கக்கூடும் என்றார்கள்.For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?(வெளி 6:1-17) (Rev 6:1-17)இவைகளுக்குப்பின்பு, பூமியின் நான்கு திசைகளிலும் நான்கு தூதர்கள் நின்று, பூமியின்மேலாவது, சமுத்திரத்தின் மேலாவது, ஒரு மரத்தின்மேலாவது, காற்று அடியாதபடிக்கு, பூமியின் நான்கு காற்றுகளையும் பிடித்திருக்கக்கண்டேன்.


அவர் ஏழாம் முத்திரையை உடைத்தபோது, பரலோகத்தில் ஏறக்குறைய அரைமணிநேரமளவும் அமைதல் உண்டாயிற்று. And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.  பின்பு, தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக நிற்கிற ஏழு தூதர்களையுங் கண்டேன், அவர்களுக்கு ஏழு எக்காளங்கள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.  வேறொரு தூதனும் வந்து, தூபங்காட்டும் பொற்கலசத்தைப் பிடித்துப் பலிபீடத்தின் படியிலே நின்றான்; சிங்காசனத்திற்குமுன்பாக இருந்த பொற்பீடத்தின்மேல் சகல பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய ஜெபங்களோடும் செலுத்தும்படி மிகுந்த தூபவர்க்கம் அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.  அப்படியே பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய ஜெபங்களோடும் செலுத்தப்பட்ட தூபவர்க்கத்தின் புகையானது தூதனுடைய கையிலிருந்து தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக எழும்பிற்று. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.  பின்பு, அந்தத் தூதன் தூபகலசத்தை எடுத்து, அதைப் பலிபீடத்து நெருப்பினால் நிரப்பி, பூமியிலே கொட்டினான்; உடனே சத்தங்களும், இடிமுழக்கங்களும், மின்னல்களும், பூமியதிர்ச்சியும் உண்டாயின. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.  அப்பொழுது, ஏழு எக்காளங்களையுடைய ஏழு தூதர்கள் எக்காளம் ஊதுகிறதற்குத் தங்களை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினார்கள். And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.  முதலாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது இரத்தங்கலந்த கல்மழையும் அக்கினியும் உண்டாகி, பூமியிலே கொட்டப்பட்டது; அதினால் மரங்களில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு வெந்துபோயிற்று, பசும்புல்லெல்லாம் எரிந்துபோயிற்று. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.  இரண்டாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது அக்கினியால் எரிகிற பெரிய மலைபோன்றதொன்று சமுத்திரத்திலே போடப்பட்டது. அதினால் சமுத்திரத்தில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு இரத்தமாயிற்று. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;  சமுத்திரத்திலிருந்த ஜீவனுள்ள சிருஷ்டிகளில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு செத்துப்போயிற்று; கப்பல்களில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு சேதமாயிற்று. And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.  மூன்றாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது ஒரு பெரிய நட்சத்திரம் தீவட்டியைப்போல எரிந்து, வானத்திலிருந்து விழுந்தது; அது ஆறுகளில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கின்மேலும், நீருற்றுகளின்மேலும் விழுந்தது. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;  அந்த நட்சத்திரத்திற்கு எட்டியென்று பெயர்; அதினால் தண்ணீரில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு எட்டியைப்போலக் கசப்பாயிற்று; இப்படிக் கசப்பான தண்ணீரினால் மனுஷரில் அநேகர் செத்தார்கள். And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.  நான்காம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது சூரியனில் மூன்றிலொரு பங்கும், சந்திரனில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கும், நட்சத்திரங்களில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கும் சேதப்பட்டது, அவற்றவற்றில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு இருளடைந்தது; பகலிலும் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு பிரகாசமில்லாமற்போயிற்று, இரவிலும் அப்படியேயாயிற்று. And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.  பின்பு, ஒரு தூதன் வானத்தின் மத்தியிலே பறந்துவரக்கண்டேன்; அவன் மகா சத்தமிட்டு: இனி எக்காளம் ஊதப்போகிற மற்ற மூன்று தூதருடைய எக்காள சத்தங்களினால் பூமியில் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ, ஐயோ, ஐயோ (ஆபத்துவரும்) என்று சொல்லக்கேட்டேன். And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!(வெளி 8:1-13) (Rev 8:1-13)
ஐந்தாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது வானத்திலிருந்து பூமியின்மேல் விழுந்த ஒரு நட்சத்திரத்தைக் கண்டேன்; அவனுக்குப் பாதாளக்குழியின் திறவுகோல் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
அவன் பாதாளக்குழியைத் திறந்தான்; உடனே பெருஞ்சூளையின் புகையைப்போல அந்தக் குழியிலிருந்து புகைஎழும்பிற்று; அந்தக் குழியின் புகையில் சூரியனும் ஆகாயமும் அந்தகாரப்பட்டது.
And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
அந்தப் புகையிலிருந்து வெட்டுக்கிளிகள் புறப்பட்டுப் பூமியின்மேல் வந்தது; அவைகளுக்குப் பூமியிலுள்ள தேள்களின் வல்லமைக்கொப்பான வல்லமை கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
பூமியின் புல்லையும் பசுமையான எந்தப் பூண்டையும் எந்த மரத்தையும் சேதப்படுத்தாமல், தங்கள் நெற்றிகளில் தேவனுடைய முத்திரையைத் தரித்திராத மனுஷரைமாத்திரம் சேதப்படுத்த அவைகளுக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
மேலும் அவர்களைக் கொலைசெய்யும்படிக்கு அவைகளுக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுக்கப்படாமல், ஐந்துமாதமளவும் அவர்களை வேதனைப்படுத்தும்படிக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுக்கப்பட்டது; அவைகள் செய்யும்வேதனை தேளானது மனுஷரைக் கொட்டும்போது உண்டாகும் வேதனையையைப்போலிருக்கும்.
And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
அந்நாட்களில் மனுஷர்கள் சாவைத்தேடியும் அதைக் காணாதிருப்பார்கள், சாகவேண்டுமென்று ஆசைப்படுவார்கள், சாவோ அவர்களுக்கு விலகி ஓடிப்போம்.
And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
அந்த வெட்டுக்கிளிகளின் உருவம் யுத்தத்திற்கு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்ட குதிரைகளுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருந்தது; அவைகளுடைய தலைகளின்மேல் பொன்மயமான கிரீடம் போன்றவைகளிருந்தன; அவைகளின் முகங்கள் மனுஷருடைய முகங்கள்போலிருந்தன.
And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
அவைகளுடைய கூந்தல் ஸ்திரீகளுடைய கூந்தல்போலிருந்தது; அவைகளின் பற்கள் சிங்கங்களின் பற்கள்போலிருந்தன.
And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
இருப்புக் கவசங்களைப்போல மார்க்கவசங்கள் அவைகளுக்கு இருந்தன; அவைகளுடைய சிறகுகளின் இரைச்சல் யுத்தத்திற்கு ஓடுகிற அநேகங் குதிரைகள் பூண்ட இரதங்களின் இரைச்சலுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருந்தன.
And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
அவைகள் தேள்களின் வால்களுக்கு ஒப்பான வால்களையும், அந்த வால்களில் கொடுக்குகளையும் உடையவைகளாயிருந்தன; அவைகள் ஐந்து மாதமளவும் மனுஷரைச் சேதப்படுத்துவதற்கு அதிகாரமுடையவைகளாயிருந்தன.
And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
அவைகளுக்கு ஒரு ராஜன் உண்டு, அவன் பாதாளத்தின் தூதன்; எபிரெயு பாஷையிலே அபெத்தோன் என்றும், கிரேக்கு பாஷையிலே அப்பொல்லியோன் என்றும் அவனுக்குப் பெயர். And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.(வெளி 9:1-11) (Rev 9:1-11) ஆறாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது அவனுக்கு முன்பாக இருந்த பொற்பீடத்தின் நான்கு கொம்புகளிலுமிருந்து ஒரு சத்தந்தோன்றி, And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, எக்காளத்தைப் பிடித்திருந்த ஆறாம் தூதனை நோக்கி: ஐப்பிராத்தென்னும் பெரிய நதியண்டையிலே கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிற நான்கு தூதர்களையும் அவிழ்த்துவிடு என்று சொல்லக்கேட்டேன். Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. அப்பொழுது மனுஷரில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கைக் கொல்லும்படிக்கு ஒருமணிநேரத்திற்கும், ஒரு நாளுக்கும், ஒரு மாதத்திற்கும், ஒரு வருஷத்திற்கும் ஆயத்தமாக்கப்பட்டிருந்த அந்த நான்கு தூதர்களும் அவிழ்த்துவிடப்பட்டார்கள். And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. குதிரைச்சேனைகளாகிய இராணுவங்களின் தொகை இருபது கோடியாயிருந்தது; அவைகளின் தொகையைச் சொல்லக்கேட்டேன். And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. குதிரைகளையும் அவைகளின்மேல் ஏறியிருந்தவர்களையும் நான் தரிசனத்தில் கண்டவிதமாவது; அவர்கள் அக்கினிநிறமும் நீலநிறமும் கந்தகநிறமுமான மார்க்கவசங்களையுடையவர்களாயிருந்தார்கள்; குதிரைகளுடைய தலைகள் சிங்கங்களின் தலைகளைப்போலிருந்தன; அவைகளுடைய வாய்களிலிருந்து அக்கினியும் புகையும் கந்தகமும் புறப்பட்டன. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. அவைகளுடைய வாய்களிலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட அக்கினி புகை கந்தகம் என்னும் இம்மூன்றினாலும் மனுஷரில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு கொல்லப்பட்டார்கள். By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. அந்தக் குதிரைகளின் வல்லமை அவைகளுடைய வாயிலேயும் வால்களிலேயும் இருக்கிறது; அவைகளுடைய வால்கள் பாம்புகளுக்கு ஒப்பானவைகளாயும், தலைகளுள்ளவைகளாயுமிருக்கிறது, அவைகளாலே சேதப்படுத்துகிறது. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. அப்படியிருந்தும், அந்த வாதைகளால் கொல்லப்படாத மற்ற மனுஷர்கள் பேய்களையும், பொன் வெள்ளி செம்பு கல்மரம் என்பவைகளால் செய்யப்பட்டவைகளாயும் காணவும் கேட்கவும் நடக்கவுமாட்டாதவைகளாயுமிருக்கிற விக்கிரகங்களையும் வணங்காதபடிக்குத் தங்கள் கைகளின் கிரியைகளை விட்டு மனந்திரும்பவுமில்லை; And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: தங்கள் கொலைபாதகங்களையும், தங்கள் சூனியங்களையும், தங்கள் வேசித்தனங்களையும், தங்கள் களவுகளையும் விட்டு மனந்திரும்பவுமில்லை. Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.(வெளி 9:13-21) (Rev 9:13-21) 



 பின்பு கைக்கோலுக்கு ஒப்பான ஒருஅளவுகோல் என்னிடத்தில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. அப்பொழுது தேவதூதன் நின்று, என்னை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்து, தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தையும், பலிபீடத்தையும் அதில் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்களையும் அளந்துபார். And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.  ஆலயத்திற்குப் புறம்பே இருக்கிறபிராகாரம் புறஜாதியாருக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டபடியால் அதை அளவாமல் புறம்பாக்கிப்போடு; பரிசுத்த நகரத்தை அவர்கள் நாற்பத்திரண்டு மாதமளவும் மிதிப்பார்கள். But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.  என்னுடைய இரண்டு சாட்சிகளும் இரட்டு வஸ்திரமுடுத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்களாய், ஆயிரத்திருநூற்றறுபது நாளளவும் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லும்படி அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுப்பேன். And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  பூலோகத்தின் ஆண்டவருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கிற இரண்டு ஒலிவமரங்களும் இரண்டு விளக்குத்தண்டுகளும் இவர்களே. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.  ஒருவன் அவர்களைச் சேதப்படுத்தமனதாயிருந்தால், அவர்களுடைய வாயிலிருந்து அக்கினி புறப்பட்டு, அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்களைப் பட்சிக்கும்; அவர்களைச் சேதப்படுத்த மனதாயிருக்கிறவன் எவனோ அவன் அப்படியே கொல்லப்படவேண்டும். And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.  அவர்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ் சொல்லிவருகிற நாட்களிலே மழைபெய்யாதபடிக்கு வானத்தை அடைக்க அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரமுண்டு; அவர்கள் தண்ணீர்களை இரத்தமாக மாற்றவும், தங்களுக்கு வேண்டும்போதெல்லாம் பூமியைச்சகலவித வாதைகளாலும் வாதிக்கவும் அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரமுண்டு. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.  அவர்கள் தங்கள் சாட்சியைச்சொல்லி முடித்திருக்கும்போது, பாதாளத்திலிருந்தேறுகிற மிருகம் அவர்களோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணி, அவர்களை ஜெயித்து, அவர்களைக் கொன்றுபோடும். And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.  அவர்களுடைய உடல்கள் மகாநகரத்தின் விசாலமான வீதியிலே கிடக்கும். அந்த நகரம் சோதோம் என்றும் எகிப்து என்றும் ஞானார்த்தமாய்ச் சொல்லப்படும்; அதிலே நம்முடைய கர்த்தரும் சிலுவையிலே அறையப்பட்டார். And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.  ஜனங்களிலும், கோத்திரங்களிலும், பாஷைக்காரரிலும், ஜாதிகளிலுமுள்ளவர்கள் அவர்களுடைய உடல்களை மூன்றரை நாள் வரைக்கும் பார்ப்பார்கள், அவர்களுடைய உடல்களைக் கல்லறைகளில் வைக்கவொட்டார்கள். And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.  அவ்விரண்டு தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் பூமியின் குடிகளை வேதனைப்படுத்தினபடியால் அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் பூமியில் குடியிருக்கிறவர்கள் சந்தோஷப்பட்டுக் களிகூர்ந்து, ஒருவருக்கொருவர் வெகுமதிகளை அனுப்புவார்கள். And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.  மூன்றரை நாளைக்குப்பின்பு தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து ஜீவஆவி அவர்களுக்குள் பிரவேசித்தது, அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் காலூன்றி நின்றார்கள்; அவர்களைப் பார்த்தவர்களுக்கு மிகுந்த பயமுண்டாயிற்று. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.  இங்கே ஏறிவாருங்கள் என்று வானத்திலிருந்து தங்களுக்கு உண்டான பெரிய சத்தத்தை அவர்கள் கேட்டு, மேகத்தில் ஏறி வானத்திற்குப் போனார்கள், அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்கள் அவர்களைப் பார்த்தார்கள். And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.  அந்நேரத்திலே பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது, உடனே அந்த நகரத்தில் பத்திலொருபங்கு இடிந்து விழுந்தது; மனுஷரில் ஏழாயிரம்பேர் பூமியதிர்ச்சியினால் அழிந்தார்கள்; மீதியானவர்கள் பயமடைந்து பரலோகத்தின் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள். And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.(வெளி 11:1-13) (Rev 11:1-13) ஏழாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது உலகத்தின் ராஜ்யங்கள் நம்முடைய கர்த்தருக்கும், அவருடைய கிறிஸ்துவுக்குமுரிய ராஜ்யங்களாயின; அவர் சதாகாலங்களிலும் ராஜ்யபாரம் பண்ணுவார் என்னும் கெம்பீர சத்தங்கள் வானத்தில் உண்டாயின. And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.  அப்பொழுது தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகத் தங்கள் சிங்காசனங்கள்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருந்த இருபத்துநான்கு மூப்பர்களும் முகங்குப்புற விழுந்து: And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,  இருக்கிறவரும் இருந்தவரும் வருகிறவருமாகிய சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தராகிய தேவனே, உம்மை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறோம், தேவரீர் உமது மகா வல்லமையைக்கொண்டு ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணுகிறீர். Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.  ஜாதிகள் கோபித்தார்கள், அப்பொழுது உம்முடைய கோபம் மூண்டது; மரித்தோர் நியாயத்தீர்ப்படைகிறதற்கும், தீர்க்கதரிசிகளாகிய உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரருக்கும் பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கும் உமது நாமத்தின்மேல் பயபக்தியாயிருந்த சிறியோர் பெரியோருக்கும் பலனளிக்கிறதற்கும், பூமியைக் கெடுத்தவர்களைக் கெடுக்கிறதற்கும், காலம்வந்தது என்று சொல்லி, தேவனைத் தொழுதுகொண்டார்கள். And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.  அப்பொழுது பரலோகத்தில் தேவனுடைய ஆலயம் திறக்கப்பட்டது, அவருடைய ஆலயத்திலே அவருடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் பெட்டி காணப்பட்டது; அப்பொழுது மின்னல்களும், சத்தங்களும், இடிமுழக்கங்களும், பூமியதிர்ச்சியும், பெருங்கல்மழையும் உண்டாயின. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.(வெளி 11:15-19) (Rev 11:15-19) 
 அன்றியும் ஒரு பெரிய அடையாளம் வானத்திலே காணப்பட்டது; ஒரு ஸ்திரீ சூரியனை அணிந்திருந்தாள், அவள் பாதங்களின் கீழே சந்திரனும், அவள் சிரசின்மேல் பன்னிரண்டு நட்சத்திரங்களுள்ள கிரீடமும் இருந்தன. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  அவள் கர்ப்பவதியாயிருந்து, பிரசவவேதனையடைந்து, பிள்ளைபெறும்படி வருத்தப்பட்டு அலறினாள். And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.  அப்பொழுது வேறொரு அடையாளம் வானத்திலே காணப்பட்டது; ஏழு தலைகளையும், பத்துக் கொம்புகளையும், தன் தலைகளின்மேல் ஏழு முடிகளையுமுடைய சிவப்பான பெரிய வலுசர்ப்பமிருந்தது. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.  அதின் வால் வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்களில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கை இழுத்து, அவைகளைப் பூமியில் விழத்தள்ளிற்று; பிரசவவேதனைப்படுகிற அந்த ஸ்திரீ பிள்ளைபெற்றவுடனே, அவளுடைய பிள்ளையைப் பட்சித்துப்போடும்படிக்கு அந்த வலுசர்ப்பம் அவளுக்கு முன்பாக நின்றது. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  சகல ஜாதிகளையும் இருப்புக்கோலால் ஆளுகைசெய்யும் ஆண்பிள்ளையை பெற்றாள்; அவளுடைய பிள்ளை தேவனிடத்திற்கும் அவருடைய சிங்காசனத்தினிடத்திற்கும், எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.  ஸ்திரீயானவள் வனாந்தரத்திற்கு ஓடிப்போனாள்; அங்கே ஆயிரத்திருநூற்றறுபது நாளளவும் அவளைப் போஷிப்பதற்காக தேவனால் ஆயத்தமாக்கப்பட்ட இடம் அவளுக்கு உண்டாயிருந்தது. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.  வானத்திலே யுத்தமுண்டாயிற்று; மிகாவேலும் அவனைச் சேர்ந்த தூதர்களும் வலுசர்ப்பத்தோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணினார்கள்; வலுசர்ப்பமும் அதைச்சேர்ந்த தூதரும் யுத்தம்பண்ணியும் ஜெயங்கொள்ளவில்லை. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,  வானத்தில் அவர்கள் இருந்த இடமும் காணப்படாமற்போயிற்று. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.  உலகமனைத்தையும் மோசம்போக்குகிற பிசாசு என்றும் சாத்தான் என்றும் சொல்லப்பட்ட பழைய பாம்பாகிய பெரிய வலுசர்ப்பம் தள்ளப்பட்டது; அது பூமியிலே விழத்தள்ளப்பட்டது, அதனோடேகூட அதைச்சேர்ந்த தூதரும் தள்ளப்பட்டார்கள். And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  அப்பொழுது வானத்திலே ஒரு பெரிய சத்தமுண்டாகி: இப்பொழுது இரட்சிப்பும் வல்லமையும் நமது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யமும், அவருடைய கிறிஸ்துவின் அதிகாரமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது; இரவும் பகலும் நம்முடைய தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக நம்முடைய சகோதரர்மேல் குற்றஞ் சுமத்தும்பொருட்டு அவர்கள் மேல் குற்றஞ்சாட்டுகிறவன் தாழத் தள்ளப்பட்டுப்போனான். And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  மரணம் நேரிடுகிறதாயிருந்தாலும் அதற்குத் தப்பும்படி தங்கள் ஜீவனையும் பாராமல், ஆட்டுக்குட்டியின் இரத்தத்தினாலும் தங்கள் சாட்சியின் வசனத்தினாலும் அவனை ஜெயித்தார்கள். And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.  ஆகையால் பரலோகங்களே! அவைகளில் வாசமாயிருக்கிறவர்களே! களிகூருங்கள். பூமியிலும் சமுத்திரத்திலும் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களே! ஐயோ, பிசாசானவன் தனக்குக் கொஞ்சக்காலமாத்திரம் உண்டென்று அறிந்து, மிகுந்த கோபங்கொண்டு, உங்களிடத்தில் இறங்கினபடியால், உங்களுக்கு ஆபத்துவரும் என்று சொல்லக்கேட்டேன். Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.  வலுசர்ப்பமானது தான் பூமியிலே தள்ளப்பட்டதை அறிந்து, அந்த ஆண்பிள்ளையைப்பெற்ற ஸ்திரீயைத் துன்பப்படுத்தினது. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.  ஸ்திரீயானவள் அந்தப் பாம்பின்முகத்திற்கு விலகி, ஒரு காலமும், காலங்களும், அரைக்காலமுமாகப் போஷிக்கப்படத்தக்கதாய் வனாந்தரத்திலுள்ள தன் இடத்திற்குப் பறந்துபோகும்படி பெருங்கழுகின் இரண்டு சிறகுகள் அவளுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.  அப்பொழுது அந்த ஸ்திரீயை வெள்ளங்கொண்டுபோகும்படிக்குப் பாம்பானது தன் வாயிலிருந்து ஒரு நதிபோன்ற வெள்ளத்தை அவளுக்குப் பின்னாக ஊற்றிவிட்டது. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.  பூமியானது ஸ்திரீக்கு உதவியாகத் தன் வாயைத் திறந்து, வலுசர்ப்பம் தன் வாயிலிருந்து ஊற்றின வெள்ளத்தை விழுங்கினது. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.  அப்பொழுது வலுசர்ப்பமானது ஸ்திரீயின்மேல் கோபங்கொண்டு, தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சியை உடையவர்களாகிய அவளுடைய சந்ததியான மற்றவர்களுடனே யுத்தம்பண்ணப்போயிற்று. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.(வெளி 12:1-17) (Rev:12:1-17) 
பின்பு நான் கடற்கரை மணலின்மேல் நின்றேன். அப்பொழுது சமுத்திரத்திலிருந்து ஒரு மிருகம் எழும்பிவரக் கண்டேன்; அதற்கு ஏழு தலைகளும் பத்துக்கொம்புகளும் இருந்தன; அதின் கொம்புகளின்மேல் பத்து முடிகளும், அதின் தலைகளின்மேல் தூஷணமான நாமமும் இருந்தன. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.  நான் கண்ட மிருகம் சிறுத்தையைப்போலிருந்தது; அதின் கால்கள் கரடியின் கால்களைப்போலவும், அதின் வாய் சிங்கத்தின் வாயைப்போலவும் இருந்தன; வலுசர்ப்பமானது தன் பலத்தையும் தன் சிங்காசனத்தையும் மிகுந்த அதிகாரத்தையும் அதற்குக் கொடுத்தது. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.  அதின் தலைகளிலொன்று சாவுக்கேதுவாய்க் காயப்பட்டிருக்கக் கண்டேன்; ஆனாலும் சாவுக்கேதுவான அந்தக் காயம் சொஸ்தமாக்கப்பட்டது. பூமியிலுள்ள யாவரும் ஆச்சரியத்தோடே அந்த மிருகத்தைப் பின்பற்றி, And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.  அந்த மிருகத்திற்கு அப்படிப்பட்ட அதிகாரங்கொடுத்த வலுசர்ப்பத்தை வணங்கினார்கள். அல்லாமலும்: மிருகத்திற்கு ஒப்பானவன் யார்? அதினோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணத்தக்கவன் யார்? என்று சொல்லி, மிருகத்தையும் வணங்கினார்கள். And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?  பெருமையானவைகளையும் தூஷணங்களையும் பேசும் வாய் அதற்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது; அல்லாமலும், நாற்பத்திரண்டு மாதம் யுத்தம்பண்ண அதற்கு அதிகாரங் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.  அது தேவனைத் தூஷிக்கும்படி தன் வாயைத் திறந்து, அவருடைய நாமத்தையும், அவருடைய வாசஸ்தலத்தையம், பரலோகத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்கிறவர்களையும் தூஷித்தது. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.  மேலும், பரிசுத்தவான்களோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணி அவர்களை ஜெயிக்கும்படிக்கு அதற்கு அதிகாரங்கொடுக்கப்பட்டதுமல்லாமல், ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரத்தின்மேலும் பாஷைக்காரர்மேலும் ஜாதிகள்மேலும் அதற்கு அதிகாரங்கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.  உலகத்தோற்றமுதல் அடிக்கப்பட்ட ஆட்டுக்குட்டியினுடைய ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்தில் பேரெழுதப்பட்டிராத பூமியின் குடிகள் யாவரும் அதை வணங்குவார்கள். And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  காதுள்ளவனெவனோ அவன் கேட்கக்கடவன். If any man have an ear, let him hear.  சிறைப்படுத்திக்கொண்டு போகிறவன் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போவான்; பட்டயத்தினாலே கொல்லுகிறவன் பட்டயத்தினாலே கொல்லப்படவேண்டும். பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய பொறுமையும் விசுவாசமும் இதிலே விளங்கும். He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.(வெளி 13:1-10) (Rev 13:1-10)
இதிலே ஞானம் விளங்கும்; அந்த மிருகத்தின் இலக்கத்தைப் புத்தியுடையவன் கணக்குப்பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அது மனுஷருடைய இலக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; அதினுடைய இலக்கம் அறுநூற்றறுபத்தாறு.(வெளி 13:18)Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Rev 13:18) 
பின்பு, வேறொரு மிருகம் பூமியிலிருந்து எழும்பக் கண்டேன்; அது ஆட்டுக்குட்டிக்கு ஒப்பாக இரண்டு கொம்புகளையுடையதாயிருந்து, வலுசர்ப்பத்தைப்போலப் பேசினது. And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.  அது முந்தின மிருகத்தின் அதிகாரம் முழுவதையும் அதின் முன்பாக நடப்பித்து, சாவுக்கேதுவான காயம் ஆறச்சொஸ்தமடைந்த முந்தின மிருகத்தைப் பூமியும் அதின் குடிகளும் வணங்கும்படி செய்தது. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.  அன்றியும், அது மனுஷருக்குமுன்பாக வானத்திலிருந்து பூமியின்மேல் அக்கினியை இறங்கப்பண்ணத்தக்கதாகப் பெரிய அற்புதங்களை நடப்பித்து, And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,  மிருகத்தின்முன்பாக அந்த அற்புதங்களைச் செய்யும்படி தனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட சத்துவத்தினாலே பூமியின் குடிகளை மோசம்போக்கி, பட்டயத்தினாலே காயப்பட்டுப் பிழைத்த மிருகத்திற்கு ஒரு சொரூபம் பண்ணவேண்டுமென்று பூமியின் குடிகளுக்குச் சொல்லிற்று. And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.  மேலும் அம்மிருகத்தின் சொரூபம் பேசத்தக்கதாகவும், மிருகத்தின் சொரூபத்தை வணங்காத யாவரையும் கொலைசெய்யத்தக்கதாகவும், மிருகத்தின் சொரூபத்திற்கு ஆவியைக் கொடுக்கும்படி அதற்குச் சத்துவங்கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.  அது சிறியோர், பெரியோர், ஐசுவரியவான்கள், தரித்திரர், சுயாதீனர், அடிமைகள், இவர்கள் யாவரும் தங்கள் தங்கள் வலதுகைகளிலாவது நெற்றிகளிலாவது ஒரு முத்திரையைப் பெறும்படிக்கும், And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  அந்த மிருகத்தின் முத்திரையையாவது அதின் நாமத்தையாவது அதின் நாமத்தின் இலக்கத்தையாவது தரித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் தவிர வேறொருவனும் கொள்ளவும் விற்கவுங் கூடாதபடிக்கும் செய்தது. And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.(வெளி 13:11-17) (Rev 13:11-17) 
 பின்பு நான் பார்த்தபோது, இதோ, சீயோன் மலையின்மேல் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரையும், அவரோடேகூட அவருடைய பிதாவின் நாமம் தங்கள் நெற்றிகளில் எழுதப்பட்டிருந்த இலட்சத்து நாற்பத்து நாலாரயிரம்பேரையும் நிற்கக்கண்டேன். And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.  அல்லாமலும், பெருவெள்ள இரைச்சல்போலவும், பலத்த இடிமுழக்கம்போலவும், ஒரு சத்தம் வானத்திலிருந்து உண்டாகக்கேட்டேன்; நான் கேட்ட சத்தம் சுரமண்டலக்காரர் தங்கள் சுரமண்டலங்களை வாசிக்கிற ஓசையைப்போலிருந்தது. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:  அவர்கள் சிங்காசனத்திற்கு முன்பாகவும், நான்கு ஜீவன்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும், மூப்பர்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் புதுப்பாட்டைப் பாடினார்கள்; அந்தப் பாட்டு பூமியிலிருந்து மீட்டுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட இலட்சத்து நாற்பத்துநாலாயிரம்பேரேயல்லாமல் ஒருவரும் கற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கூடாதிருந்தது. And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.  ஸ்திரீகளால் தங்களைக் கறைப்படுத்தாதவர்கள் இவர்களே; கற்புள்ளவர்கள் இவர்களே; ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவர் எங்கே போனாலும் அவரைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்கள் இவர்களே; இவர்கள் மனுஷரிலிருந்து தேவனுக்கும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருக்கும் முதற்பலனாக மீட்டுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டவர்கள். These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  இவர்களுடைய வாயிலே கபடம் காணப்படவில்லை; இவர்கள் தேவனுடைய சிங்காசனத்திற்குமுன்பாக மாசில்லாதவர்களாயிருக்கிறார்கள். And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.  பின்பு, வேறொரு தூதன் வானத்தின் மத்தியிலே பறக்கக்கண்டேன்; அவன் பூமியில் வாசம்பண்ணுகிற சகல ஜாதிகளுக்கும், கோத்திரத்தாருக்கும், பாஷைக்காரருக்கும், ஜனக்கூட்டத்தாருக்கும் அறிவிக்கத்தக்கதாக நித்திய சுவிசேஷத்தை உடையவனாயிருந்து, And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,  மிகுந்த சத்தமிட்டு: தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து, அவரை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவர் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கொடுக்கும் வேளை வந்தது; வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சமுத்திரத்தையும் நீரூற்றுகளையும் உண்டாக்கினவரையே தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்களென்று கூறினான். Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.  வேறொரு தூதன் பின்சென்று: பாபிலோன் மகா நகரம் விழுந்தது! விழுந்தது! தன் வேசித்தனமாகிய உக்கிரமான மதுவைச் சகல ஜாதிகளுக்கும் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தாளே! என்றான். And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.  அவர்களுக்குப் பின்னே மூன்றாம் தூதன் வந்து, மிகுந்த சத்தமிட்டு: மிருகத்தையும் அதின் சொரூபத்தையும் வணங்கித் தன் நெற்றியிலாவது தன் கையிலாவது அதின் முத்திரையைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவனெவனோ, And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,  அவன் தேவனுடைய கோபாக்கினையாகிய பாத்திரத்திலே கலப்பில்லாமல் வார்க்கப்பட்ட அவருடைய உக்கிரமாகிய மதுவைக் குடித்து, பரிசுத்த தூதர்களுக்குமுன்பாகவும், ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருக்குமுன்பாகவும் அக்கினியினாலும் கந்தகத்தினாலும் வாதிக்கப்படுவான். The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  அவர்களுடைய வாதையின் புகை சதாகாலங்களிலும் எழும்பும்; மிருகத்தையும் அதின் சொரூபத்தையும் வணங்குகிறவர்களுக்கும், அதினுடைய நாமத்தின் முத்திரையைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளுகிற எவனுக்கும் இரவும் பகலும் இளைப்பாறுதலிராது. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.  தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளையும் இயேசுவின் மேலுள்ள விசுவாசத்தையும் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களாகிய பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய பொறுமை இதிலே விளங்கும் என்று கூறினான். Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  பின்பு, பரலோகத்திலிருந்து ஒரு சத்தம் உண்டாகக் கேட்டேன்; அது கர்த்தருக்குள் மரிக்கிறவர்கள் இதுமுதல் பாக்கியவான்கள் என்றெழுது; அவர்கள் தங்கள் பிரயாசங்களை விட்டொழிந்து இளைப்பாறுவார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய கிரியைகள் அவர்களோடே கூடப்போம்; ஆவியானவரும் ஆம் என்று திருவுளம்பற்றுகிறார் என்று சொல்லிற்று. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.  பின்பு நான் பார்த்தபோது, இதோ, வெண்மையான மேகத்தையும், அந்த மேகத்தின்மேல் மனுஷகுமாரனுக்கொப்பானவராய்த் தமது சிரசின்மேல் பொற்கிரீடத்தையும் தமது கையிலே கருக்குள்ள அரிவாளையுமுடைய ஒருவர் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறதையும் கண்டேன். And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.  அப்பொழுது வேறொரு தூதன் தேவாலயத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, மேகத்தின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறவரை நோக்கி: பூமியின் பயிர் முதிர்ந்தது, அறுக்கிறதற்குக் காலம் வந்தது, ஆகையால் உம்முடைய அரிவாளை நீட்டி அறுத்துவிடும் என்று மிகுந்த சத்தமிட்டுச்சொன்னான். And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.  அப்பொழுது மேகத்தின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்தவர் தமது அரிவாளைப் பூமியின்மேல் நீட்டினார், பூமியின் விளைவு அறுப்புண்டது. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.  பின்பு வேறொரு தூதனும் கருக்குள்ள அரிவாளைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு பரலோகத்திலுள்ள தேவாலயத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவந்தான். And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.  அக்கினியின்மேல் அதிகாரமுள்ள வேறொரு தூதனும் பலிபீடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவந்து, கருக்குள்ள அரிவாளைப்பிடித்திருக்கிறவனை நோக்கி: பூமியின் திராட்சப்பழங்கள் பழுத்திருக்கிறது, கருக்குள்ள உமது அரிவாளை நீட்டி, அதின் குலைகளை அறுத்துவிடும் என்று மிகுந்த சத்தத்தோடே சொன்னான். And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.  அப்பொழுது அந்தத் தூதன் தன் அரிவாளைப் பூமியின் மேலே நீட்டி, பூமியின் திராட்சப்பழங்களை அறுத்து, தேவனுடைய கோபாக்கினையென்னும் பெரிய ஆலையிலே போட்டான். And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.  நகரத்திற்குப் புறம்பேயுள்ள அந்த ஆலையிலே அது மிதிக்கப்பட்டது; அந்த ஆலையிலிருந்து ஆயிரத்தறுநூறு ஸ்தாதி தூரத்திற்கு இரத்தம் புறப்பட்டுக் குதிரைகளின் கடிவாளங்கள்மட்டும் பெருகிவந்தது. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.(வெளி 14:1-20) (Rev 14:1-20) 
பின்பு, வானத்திலே பெரிதும் ஆச்சரியமுமான வேறொரு அடையாளமாகிய கடைசியான ஏழு வாதைகளையுடைய ஏழு தூதரைக் கண்டேன், அவைகளால் தேவனுடைய கோபம் முடிகிறது. And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.  அன்றியும், அக்கினி கலந்த கண்ணாடிக் கடல்போன்ற ஒரு கடலையும், மிருகத்திற்கும் அதின் சொரூபத்திற்கும் அதின் முத்திரைக்கும் அதின் நாமத்தின் இலக்கத்திற்கும் உள்ளாகாமல் ஜெயங்கொண்டவர்கள் தேவ சுரமண்டலங்களைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு அந்தக் கண்ணாடிக் கடலருகே நிற்கிறதையும் கண்டேன். And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.  அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசேயின் பாட்டையும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடைய பாட்டையும் பாடி: சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, தேவரீருடைய கிரியைகள் மகத்துவமும் ஆச்சரியமுமானவைகள்; பரிசுத்தவான்களின் ராஜாவே, தேவரீருடைய வழிகள் நீதியும் சத்தியமுமானவைகள். And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.  கர்த்தாவே, யார் உமக்குப் பயப்படாமலும், உமது நாமத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்தாமலும் இருக்கலாம்? தேவரீர் ஒருவரே பரிசுத்தர், எல்லா ஜாதிகளும் வந்து உமக்கு முன்பாகத் தொழுதுகொள்வார்கள்; உம்முடைய நீதியான செயல்கள் வெளியரங்கமாயின என்றார்கள். Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.  இவைகளுக்குப்பின்பு, நான் பார்த்தபோது, இதோ, பரலோகத்திலே சாட்சியின் கூடாரமாகிய ஆலயம் திறக்கப்பட்டது; And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:  அந்த ஆலயத்திலிருந்து ஏழு வாதைகளையுடைய அவ்வேழு தூதர்களும் சுத்தமும் பிரகாசமுமான மெல்லிய வஸ்திரந்தரித்து, மார்பருகே பொற்கச்சைகளைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு புறப்பட்டார்கள். And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.  அப்பொழுது அந்த நான்கு ஜீவன்களில் ஒன்று, சதாகாலங்களிலும் உயிரோடிருக்கிற தேவனுடைய கோபாக்கினையால் நிறைந்த பொற்கலசங்கள் ஏழையும் அந்த ஏழு தூதர்களுக்குங் கொடுத்தது. And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.(வெளி 15:1-7) (Rev 15:1-7) 
அன்றியும், அக்கினி கலந்த கண்ணாடிக் கடல்போன்ற ஒரு கடலையும், மிருகத்திற்கும் அதின் சொரூபத்திற்கும் அதின் முத்திரைக்கும் அதின் நாமத்தின் இலக்கத்திற்கும் உள்ளாகாமல் ஜெயங்கொண்டவர்கள் தேவ சுரமண்டலங்களைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு அந்தக் கண்ணாடிக் கடலருகே நிற்கிறதையும் கண்டேன். முதலாம் தூதன் போய், தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதைப் பூமியின்மேல் ஊற்றினான்; உடனே மிருகத்தின் முத்திரையைத் தரித்தவர்களும் அதின் சொரூபத்தை வணங்குகிறவர்களுமாகிய மனுஷர்களுக்குப் பொல்லாத கொடிய புண்ணுண்டாயிற்று. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.  இரண்டாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதைச் சமுத்திரத்திலே ஊற்றினான்; உடனே அது செத்தவனுடைய இரத்தம்போலாயிற்று; சமுத்திரத்திலுள்ள பிராணிகள் யாவும் மாண்டுபோயின. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.  மூன்றாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதை ஆறுகளிலும், நீரூற்றுகளிலும் ஊற்றினான்; உடனே அவைகள் இரத்தமாயின. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.  அப்பொழுது தண்ணீர்களின் தூதன்: இருக்கிறவரும் இருந்தவரும் பரிசுத்தருமாகிய தேவரீர் இப்படி நியாயந்தீர்க்க நீதியுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறீர். And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.  அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய இரத்தத்தையும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுடைய இரத்தத்தையும் சிந்தினபடியினால், இரத்தத்தையே அவர்களுக்குக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தீர்; அதற்கு பாத்திரராயிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று சொல்லக்கேட்டேன். For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.  பலிபீடத்திலிருந்து வேறொருவன்: ஆம், சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் சத்தியமும் நீதியுமானவைகள் என்று சொல்லக்கேட்டேன். And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.  நான்காம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதைச் சூரியன்மேல் ஊற்றினான்; தீயினால் மனுஷரைக் தகிக்கும்படி அதற்கு அதிகாரங் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.  அப்பொழுது மனுஷர்கள் மிகுந்த உஷ்ணத்தினாலே தகிக்கப்பட்டு, இந்த வாதைகளைச் செய்ய அதிகாரமுள்ள தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைத் தூஷித்தார்களேயல்லாமல், அவரை மகிமைப்படுத்த மனந்திரும்பவில்லை; And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.  ஐந்தாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதை மிருகத்தினுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் ஊற்றினான்; அப்பொழுது அதின் ராஜ்யம் இருளடைந்தது; அவர்கள் வருத்தத்தினாலே தங்கள் நாவுகளைக் கடித்துக்கொண்டு, And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,  தங்கள் வருத்தங்களாலும், தங்கள் புண்களாலும், பரலோகத்தின் தேவனைத் தூஷித்தார்களேயல்லாமல், தங்கள் கிரியைகளை விட்டு மனந்திரும்பவில்லை. And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.  ஆறாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதை ஐப்பிராத்து என்னும் பெரிய நதியின்மேல் ஊற்றினான்: அப்பொழுது சூரியன் உதிக்குந் திசையிலிருந்தும் ராஜாக்களுக்கு வழி ஆயத்தமாகும்படி அந்த நதியின் தண்ணீர் வற்றிப்போயிற்று. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.  அப்பொழுது, வலுசர்ப்பத்தின் வாயிலும் மிருகத்தின் வாயிலும் கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசியின் வாயிலுமிருந்து தவளைகளுக்கு ஒப்பான மூன்று அசுத்த ஆவிகள் புறப்பட்டுவரக்கண்டேன். And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  அவைகள் அற்புதங்களைச் செய்கிற பிசாசுகளின் ஆவிகள்; அவைகள் பூலோகமெங்குமுள்ள ராஜாக்களைச் சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனுடைய மகாநாளில் நடக்கும் யுத்தத்திற்குக் கூட்டிச்சேர்க்கும்படிக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போகிறது. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.  இதோ, திருடனைப்போல் வருகிறேன். தன் மானம் காணப்படத்தக்கதாக நிர்வாணமாய் நடவாதபடிக்கு விழித்துக்கொண்டு, தன் வஸ்திரங்களைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் பாக்கியவான். Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.  அப்பொழுது எபிரெயு பாஷையிலே அர்மகெதோன் என்னப்பட்ட இடத்திலே அவர்களைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்த்தான். And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.  ஏழாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதை ஆகாயத்தில் ஊற்றினான்; அப்பொழுது பரலோகத்தின் ஆலயத்திலுள்ள சிங்காசனத்திலிருந்து: ஆயிற்று என்று சொல்லிய பெருஞ்சத்தம் பிறந்தது. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.  சத்தங்களும் இடிமுழக்கங்களும் மின்னல்களும் உண்டாயின; பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது, பூமியின்மேல் மனுஷர்கள் உண்டான நாள்முதற்கொண்டு அப்படிப்பட்ட பெரிய அதிர்ச்சியுண்டானதில்லை. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.  அப்பொழுது மகா நகரம் மூன்று பங்காகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டது, புறஜாதிகளுடைய பட்டணங்கள் விழுந்தன. மகா பாபிலோனுக்கு தேவனுடைய உக்கிரமான கோபாக்கினையாகிய மதுவுள்ள பாத்திரத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்படி அது அவருக்கு முன்பாக நினைப்பூட்டப்பட்டது. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.  தீவுகள் யாவும் அகன்றுபோயின, பர்வதங்கள் காணப்படாமற்போயின. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.  தாலந்து நிறையான பெரிய கல்மழையும் வானத்திலிருந்து மனுஷர்மேல் விழுந்தது; அந்தக் கல்மழையினால் உண்டான வாதையினிமித்தம் மனுஷர்கள் தேவனைத் தூஷித்தார்கள்; அந்த வாதை மகா கொடியதாயிருந்தது. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.(வெளி 16:2-21) (Rev 16:2-21) 
ஏழு கலசங்களையுடைய அந்த ஏழு தூதரில் ஒருவன் வந்து என்னோடே பேசி: நீ வா, திரளான தண்ணீர்கள்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிற மகா வேசியோடே பூமியின் ராஜாக்கள் வேசித்தனம்பண்ணினார்களே, அவளுடைய வேசித்தனமாகிய மதுவால் பூமியின் குடிகளும் வெறிகொண்டிருந்தார்களே; And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:  அவளுக்கு வருகிற ஆக்கினையை உனக்குக் காண்பிப்பேன் என்று சொல்லி; With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.  ஆவிக்குள் என்னை வனாந்தரத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோனான். அப்பொழுது ஏழு தலைகளையும் பத்துக் கொம்புகளையும் உடையதும் தூஷணமான நாமங்களால் நிறைந்ததுமான சிவப்புநிறமுள்ள மிருகத்தின்மேல் ஒரு ஸ்திரீ ஏறியிருக்கக் கண்டேன். So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.  அந்த ஸ்திரீ இரத்தாம்பரமும் சிவப்பான ஆடையுந்தரித்து, பொன்னினாலும் இரத்தினங்களினாலும் முத்துக்களினாலும் சிங்காரிக்கப்பட்டு, தன் வேசித்தனமாகிய அருவருப்புகளாலும் அசுத்தத்தாலும் நிறைந்த பொற்பாத்திரத்தைத் தன் கையிலே பிடித்திருந்தாள். And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:  மேலும், இரகசியம், மகா பாபிலோன், வேசிகளுக்கும் பூமியிலுள்ள அருவருப்புகளுக்கும் தாய்என்னும் நாமம் அவள் நெற்றியில் எழுதியிருந்தது. And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.(வெளி 17:1-5) (Rev 17:1-5) 
இவர்கள் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடனே யுத்தம்பண்ணுவார்கள், ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவர் கர்த்தாதி கர்த்தரும்ராஜாதி ராஜாவுமாயிருக்கிறபடியால் அவர்களை ஜெயிப்பார்; அவரோடுகூட இருக்கிறவர்கள் அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்களும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களும் உண்மையுள்ளவர்களுமாயிருக்கிறார்கள் என்றான். These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. பின்னும் அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: அந்த வேசி உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிற தண்ணீர்களைக் கண்டாயே; அவைகள் ஜனங்களும் கூட்டங்களும் ஜாதிகளும் பாஷைக்காரருமாம். And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. நீ மிருகத்தின்மேல் கண்ட பத்துக்கொம்புகளானவர்கள் அந்த வேசியைப்பகைத்து, அவளைப் பாழும் நிர்வாணமுமாக்கி, அவளுடைய மாம்சத்தைப் பட்சித்து, அவளை நெருப்பினால் சுட்டெரித்துப்போடுவார்கள். And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. தேவன் தம்முடைய வார்த்தைகள் நிறைவேறுமளவும், அவர்கள் தமது யோசனையை நிறைவேற்றுகிறதற்கும், ஒரே யோசனையுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்து, தங்கள் ராஜ்யத்தை மிருகத்திற்குக் கொடுக்கிறதற்கும் அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களை ஏவினார்.
For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. நீ கண்ட ஸ்திரீயானவள் பூமியின் ராஜாக்கள்மேல் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணுகிற மகா நகரமேயாம் என்றான்.
